I booked a standard room as a Titanium member. About a day before check in I noticed that I was upgraded to a club room. The room itself was clean, roomy, and great. The height and location provided excellent views of Nagoya. I cannot comment on the bathroom as this hotel has a public bath which is complimentary for elite members. I think it was Platinum and above. Either way, I partook of that benefit every day of my stay. Access requires you to go down to the lobby and transfer to the dedicated elevator to the bath and spa area but I didn't mind this detour. The hotel is about as centrally located as possible. It's located above the JR Nayoya Station and is absolutely perfectly located for sightseeing in Nagoya, the surrounding area, or even as a layover in Nagoya if you're only around for a day. I was on the floor below the Elite lounge and it was interesting to see that they have a dedicated staircase for members to easily and quickly get to the lounge. Evening cocktail service always had some delicious food options so I was satisfied by this. Breakfast was also good however it was interesting to note that this hotel does not provide the option of the breakfast in the lounge or the main restaurant. It is either the lounge or a discount at the lobby restaurant. This wasn't a problem, just an observation. The nice room, excellent location, club lounge, public bath, and all benefits taken as whole lead me to say that I think this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Nagoya so far. The location is unbeatable, the benefits are excellent, and while TIAD Autograph Collection may have more luxurious rooms, I think the package as a whole here at the Nagoya Marriott Associa puts it ahead in my opinion.

If you value location, views, and top-tier hospitality, this hotel is tough to beat. **The Highlights:** * **Unmatched Location:** Being located directly inside JR Nagoya Station made my arrival seamless. I got off the Shinkansen and walked straight into the hotel. The station itself offers a massive selection of shops and restaurants, though it can honestly be a bit overwhelming if you have trouble deciding where to eat! * **Impeccable Service:** The check-in process was fast and efficient. The staff perfectly embodies traditional Japanese hospitality—incredibly polite, courteous, and attentive. * **Fantastic Views & Cleanliness:** Because the hotel rooms start on the 15th floor and go higher, you get a great view of the Nagoya cityscape. The Executive Lounge on the 36th floor offers equally stunning views and maintains the spacious, clean standard you expect from a Marriott property. **Where They Can Improve:** * **Lack of Food Variety:** If I have to be critical, it would be the food options in the Executive Lounge and the breakfast buffet. The lounge offered the exact same food every single day, and by the third day, I was completely tired of it. I decided to pay extra for the regular breakfast buffet instead, but sadly, it suffered from the same issue and served the identical menu daily. ### **Final Verdict** If you are staying for multiple days, the breakfast repetition might get old, but the sheer convenience of the location and the friendly service outweigh the food monotony. **I would definitely stay here again.**

In terms of location alone, this hotel is hard to beat—it is directly above Nagoya Station. From the room to the station takes less than five minutes, and you avoid the usual crowds and transfers entirely.The rooms are spacious by Japan standards, and the lobby has a grand, impressive feel. There are multiple exits, making the hotel extremely well connected and easy to navigate in all directions.One of the unique highlights is the view from the room—you can literally sit and watch trains and Shinkansen passing by throughout the day, which becomes unexpectedly relaxing and even addictive.In short, this is the kind of hotel that changes your travel rhythm. Instead of feeling like a base for going out, it becomes a destination in itself—a hotel that makes you consider staying in just to enjoy the experience.

I had a very good two-night stay here at the end of March. I felt that I went from one lodging extreme to the other. Last night, I slept at a remodeled elementary school in the countryside. Now, I'm in a modern hotel with a room on the 30th floor (note: I don't remember my floor, but whatever). The location can't be beat because the hotel is on top of the Nagoya JR Station, where you can catch local trains and the Shinkansen. Like other large stations, there is plenty of shopping and restaurants in the building and around the area. It's a HUGE building too. Because the hotel is on the upper floors, the rooms are very quiet. As usual, the room was very clean and spacious. I didn't find any dust or stray hairs during my inspection. I wished the pillows were more firm and that there was a couch instead of two chairs. Instead of a standard soaking tub, there was only a western tub in the room, which was disappointing. The lounge on an even higher floor was very good (accessed as a platinum elite member). There was a good selection of food and drink, which varied during the time of the day. It closes at 10pm and they're very strict about it. I paid for the room with free-night certificates, but I think it was $200 including taxes. Normally, in Japan, I wouldn't stay in places like this. Less costly hotels are perfectly adequate for me, but the certificates go a long way in Japan's secondary cities. Even though the hotel is convenient-looking on the map, it's actually a hassle too because the lobby and rooms are so far up. There are multiple entrances, which makes things confusing.

You couldn't beat the location of this place. It's right inside the Nagoya Station complex, at the door step of Kintetsu. About 2 minutes walk to JR ticket gate and 4 minutes to Shinkansen (all indoors). The station complex is filled with shopping and dining opportunities. And while this isn't the downtown Nagoya, the area is busy enough to contain anything you'll need. The only downside is that you can't take the elevator directly to your room level. You have to move across the lobby level (at 15th floor) to get another elevator. The room was big enough for a hotel in a Japanese city center. It was a little simpler than I thought, and the lights were dimmer than most hotels in Asia. But it felt upscale, equipped with one the biggest collection of bathroom amenities I have seen (literally on a cart) and the bed was very comfortable. Most rooms are on a pretty high level so you'll get a good view to the city. I was particularly impressed with the soundproofing. All these trains running under my feet and yet I heard nothing except when a heavy freight train was passing through. If you are staying here I highly recommend going to their Japanese restaurant, impressive place. The french one was just OK for the price. The breakfast buffet had lots of options, but the taste was rather bland like many hotels in big cities. It would worth it if you get it as a package, but doesn't worth the full price. They also have a whole floor dedicated to elite members as lounge which I unfortunately didn't have access to. Overall I think the hotel is still a bit expensive for what they offer, but if you are looking for an upscale and low stress experience (especially if you are coming to the city by train), it is a solid option.

We arrived at the hotel around 9:00 PM. The luggage assistance staff was exceptionally welcoming and showed great care for our three children. While waiting for check-in, they thoughtfully gifted the kids some Legoland bricks. This wonderful gesture made the kids look forward to our Legoland itinerary even more and greatly reduced their tiredness from the late arrival. We truly appreciate it! Furthermore, the housekeeping service during our stay was meticulous and very clean. We were highly satisfied with our overall 8-night stay and hope to stay here again in the future.

Lovely and convenient hotel in Nagoya Station. I loved their breakfast buffet, which stays the same every morning. Great selection of Asian and Western fare. Don't miss the donut wall!

Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend away in Nagoya. The location is perfect, as the hotel is attached to the train station so it's easy to get across the city. The parking is attached to the hotel and can be validated at check in and check out. The reduced hotel guest rate is valid until 1.30pm on the day of check out. The hotel is great and one of my favourite places I've ever stayed. We had a corner room which had 3 windows looking out across the city. Plugs and light controls next to the bed, great pillows and free water in the room. The room was also a great size for Japan and the bathroom was a little dated but still nice. I used the pool on both days (additional charge but 100% worth it) and the facilities were great. It was pretty quiet and a great place to relax in the day and then children have to leave by 6pm and it becomes adults only. You can pick up towels and robes in the locker room, and the dressing room has hair straighteners and curlers, and an area to relax and watch TV. The onsen has amazing views and was a little small, but there was only one other person in there the two times I used it. Can't wait to go back and stay again, one of my favourite places I've stayed in Japan.
