An elegant and charming hotel with stunning views of the Gulf of Naples that we enjoyed from our third floor corner room. Rooms were very spacious and well appointed. The location afforded nice walks along the beautiful waterfront promenade with plenty of taxis also available, if needed. Good location for sightseeing and great restaurants nearby. Service was very good and we enjoyed the nice breakfasts, as well as, an after dinner drink in their lovely bar area. A great choice for your stay in Naples.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes and pre-cut fruits. It would have been even better if the room service was accompanied by a microwave.

Arrived here late last night and staying one more day. Absolutely fabulous hotel. The word 'grand' fits it perfectly. It really is stunning. We're told the hotel has just been renovated .. and it shows. Our room/suite is five star. Beautifully appointed. And THE most comfortable pillows! Friendly staff. Very central location. And to top it all stunning harbour/sea view. An oasis of calm in a frenetic city!

We stayed at Grand Hotel Santa Lucia for two nights, and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel is charming and has a classic feel, and the location near the water really adds to the appeal. It was a lovely place to stay with my oldest son and made for a comfortable base while exploring the area. Our room was quiet, which we really appreciated, and the beds were comfortable, though not especially exceptional. The only minor drawback was that the room felt a little warm at times. Even so, this was a pleasant stay, and I would gladly recommend the hotel to others looking for a relaxing and well-located option.

We spent four nights at the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia and enjoyed our stay. We had a water view room which was very nice, but there were workers renovating the room next to us and they kept turning off the power to our room (Room 109). The rooms are very elegant and spacious (especially by European hotel room standards). Our room was cleaned every morning, but our soap wasn’t replaced (even after asking), so we used the shampoo to wash our hands. Big shout out to Mario (concierge)and to Carla at the front desk for being so great

The location of the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia is wonderful, and unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay. From the moment we walked in, the hotel felt dated and there was an unpleasant smell. Our room was equally outdated and had a strong mothball-like odor that made it feel anything but fresh or inviting. The bathroom was another issue. Having to climb into a very high bathtub to shower felt uncomfortable and, frankly, unsafe. The pullout sofa our children slept on was extremely creaky and uncomfortable, and even the pillows in the main bedroom were uncomfortable. The biggest problem, however, was the air conditioning. We stayed in August, when temperatures were in the high 80s and felt closer to 100 degrees, yet our room never cooled properly. At night, it seemed as though the temperature was being centrally controlled, because the room became unbearably warm. For a hotel of this caliber, functioning air conditioning during the height of summer should be a basic expectation. We could see that some rooms are currently being remodeled, which is certainly a positive for future guests. However, having to listen to banging and construction noise during our stay was far from relaxing. The service upon arrival was also disappointing. Our taxi pulled up directly in front of the hotel with all of our luggage, and although hotel staff could see us from inside, no one came outside to assist. Our taxi driver ultimately helped us bring our bags into the hotel. After a long day of traveling in the August heat, that was not the welcome we expected from a hotel at this level. There is a lot of potential here because the location is excellent, and perhaps the renovated rooms will provide a very different experience. Unfortunately, based on the room and service we received, I cannot recommend the hotel as it currently stands. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

The Grand Hotel Santa Lucia is beautiful! The hotel has old world charm with such incredible beauty in both the lobby and the rooms. There is so much marble and the balconies with the ocean view are just beautiful. We only stayed one night as we were in Naples to catch an early morning flight after exploring the Amalfi coast. The hotel is so close to amazing bars and restaurants on the water as well as a castle. We were too late to tour the castle, but enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Antonino and Antonino which was recommended by the kind desk personnel. We had to fly out at 9;05 and the hotel ensured the 5:45 van they scheduled for us arrived. It is a quick trip to the airport. It is the perfect place to stay for a night or more in Naples - I wish we had more time - so beautiful. There is an amazing rooftop bar next door as well.

This was our second stay. This hotel and the staff are stellar. They are very nice and professional. This hotel is upscale, clean and comfortable. It is very close to taxi stand so getting one for our early morning departure was very easy.
