Everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is simply unbeatable, offering breathtaking views right from the hotel. A special mention goes to the stunning saltwater pool – spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Truly an unforgettable stay, highly recommended.

We stayed in classic rooms as we are a family of 4 (2a, 2 teenagers). Upon arrival we contacted the hotel to request if the rooms could be near each other, we were pleased to see they were next door to each other. The rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. Each room had a small balcony which looked out towards the hotel next door but did still have a partial sea view. |The hotel's location was a good spot for restaurants and bars and a short walk into the town and to the ferry terminal (all of these were within a 25 min walk). We did notice the taxi rank around the corner but we chose to walk. |The staff were very helpful and polite in all areas, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast had lots of choice (inc having a cup of tea with cold milk, available on request) and was well stocked and spacious tables with some overlooking the sea and castle.|The hotel was quiet and clean with air con throughout, with the exception of the rooftop bar. The staff created a welcoming atmosphere. |The pool was a lovely place to spend a couple of hours to cool down. Booking in advance is essential if you want a sun lounger on the upper deck, with a charge of 5 euro each.|This hotel isn't the cheapest in Naples but it does offer value for money and we would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family.

I stayed at this hotel for five nights this august with my fifteen year old son. The room was comfortable , air conditioned and beautifully cleaned each day. The breakfasts brought on a silver tray were delicious , a choice, we would have scrambled eggs and a bakery box full of cakes and pastries. The coffee was extremely good. Very cold juice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The lady at reception happily offered on our last day to check out later so we could enjoy the beautifully situated salt water open air pool on the roof of the hotel above the bay of naples. It was a great holiday and this timeless gracious hotel was a joy.

The service and the staff were great but that's about all. The property is quite old (AC not strong enough, Toilet flush not enough pressure). The breakfast doesn't have much to offer. Also, we encountered a waitress at breakfast that just moved the dirt to the floor while cleaning our table from the previous guest. She didn't change neither the tablecloth, nor the table set. Very disgusting and disappointing for a 4 stars hotel. The pool is very small. Also I understand the need to book, but this should be mentionned on the Hotel description instead of being told after booking. I booked this hotel for the pool (and I believe I'm not the only one) and finding out after booking that the access is restricted was very disappointing. If I had known I would not have booked this place...

Rooms were well appointed. Quality soap and shampoo. Breakfast was delicious and service staff were great! Pool you need to book a time slot as it is small. A few more chairs would allow more guests to enjoy and maybe chairs on the porches. A good stay! Thanks for the wedding anniversary gifts :-) Location- seems far but is pretty much next to everything!

We stayed at the Royal Continental Hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Despite our late evening arrival, the staff did everything possible to make the occasion special. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the view was absolutely stunning — overlooking Castel dell’Ovo, the Bay of Naples, and Mount Vesuvius. The hotel also welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco and a birthday cake, which was a very thoughtful gesture and made the celebration even more memorable. The location is excellent, right on the waterfront and within walking distance of many of Naples' main attractions and restaurants. The room was comfortable, the service was friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Although there is currently some renovation work taking place along parts of the seafront promenade, it honestly did not affect our stay or enjoyment of the area. A wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Thank you to the entire team for helping make my wife's birthday so special. We would be happy to return.

Beautiful 1950s-style hotel in a fantastic location with direct access to the seafront pedestrian promenade. Check-in was fast and professional, and the ladies at reception were kind, welcoming, and helpful. The room was a good size, clean, and had a nice balcony with a beautiful sea view. The bathroom is a bit dated, but everything worked well and the water pressure was excellent, so no complaints there. We stayed for two nights before heading to Sorrento. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the air conditioning. Although the thermostat constantly showed 19°C, the room felt extremely hot more like 40°C. We could barely sleep for both nights. We reported the problem to reception twice, but were simply told that the system was showing 19°C and was working perfectly. Clearly, it wasn’t. The TV was another disappointment. It wasn’t working when we arrived, was repaired, then stopped working again. There were also no international channels. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but at €366 per night, I believe guests should expect everything to function properly. On the positive side, the hotel staff were consistently kind, helpful, and quick to assist. Breakfast was very good, with a great variety of choices, and the service was efficient and pleasant. Overall, this is a good hotel because of its excellent location and friendly staff. However, due to the unresolved air conditioning issue, I wouldn’t recommend it at this price point, and I wouldn’t return.

I had a pleasant stay and would highlight the excellent location, which offers stunning views from the balcony. The rooftop pool area is a fantastic, relaxing space, and the staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. I also appreciated the daily complimentary still and sparkling water provided in the room. However, the hotel is definitely in need of some renovations. The most notable downside was the lack of proper glassware in the room; having to rely on paper cups and request fresh ones daily was quite inconvenient. Additionally, while the coffee and pastries at breakfast were excellent, the rest of the meal was fairly average. Overall, a nice stay, but there is room for
