I would not stay at Hotel San Pietro again. We booked a room for three people, which included a bed and a pull-out sofa bed. During the night, water began dripping from a ceiling vent directly above the sofa bed. The issue appeared to be connected to a toilet flushing in the room above us. Each time the toilet flushed, water came through the vent and onto the pillow area beside where my daughter was sleeping. We immediately contacted the front desk. We were told the hotel was fully booked and that there were no other rooms available. Staff said they would send someone to investigate, but no one ever came. The problem occurred multiple times throughout the night. Ultimately, we had to move the sofa bed ourselves, remove the wet bedding, and find replacement blankets from the room closet. Prospective guests should also be aware that the bathroom layout offers very little privacy. The shower and toilet areas are located within the main room rather than in a separate enclosed bathroom, making it difficult for multiple people sharing a room to change clothes or get ready comfortably. Another issue was noise. The street noise outside was extremely loud and continued well into the night, making it difficult to sleep. Finally, the hotel advertises fast Wi-Fi, but the internet service in our room was poor. All three of us experienced weak connectivity. When we asked about it, we were told that some rooms receive a better signal than others. Problems can happen at any hotel. What disappointed us most was the lack of response when a significant issue affected a guest's sleeping area. Based on our experience, the room quality, noise level, internet reliability, and customer service did not meet expectations.

Water was coming out of the hvac vent and puddling in the bed every time someone upstairs flushed the toilet. Asked for another room, we were denied, but told us a maintenance technician would be come, the maintenance technician never came. We moved the bed out of the stream of the water and made it through. The WiFi only worked for a few minutes and was very weak. There was a mattress you had to walk around to get to the front door of the hotel. I cannot recommend.

Location is 10mins walk from the central station. Pretty decent. Exterior of hotel looks very dodgey but the interior is fine. Room is very dated and looks like it’s from the ‘80s. Warm at night as air conditioning wasn’t functioning well (opening the windows wasn’t an option given the noise on the streets even at night). Toilet had a funky smell and the shower head was broken. Floor also sticky and slimy. Thankful we were only staying a night!Front desk was very friendly though.

Don't believe the bad reviews. This hotel was amazing, one of the best I've ever stayed at. Room: We booked the suite and had plenty of space on the second floor. The shower pressure was strong and we always had hot water. The beds were very comfortable and the towels and sheets were clean and always made when we got back to the room after a day of exploring. There was shampoo and shower gels, as well as a hair dryer, tissues and soaps to use. We even got slippers! I slept very well every night and it was quiet. The windows were thick enough to dampen the noise from outside. Food: The breakfast was available from 7-10am and was plentiful. They had fruit, cheese, toast, bread, meats, pastries, cereal, coffee, eggs and cakes. Everything tasted great and there was enough of all of it. Service: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every time you exited the hotel you had to turn in the room key and when you entered had to ask for it at the desk again. In my opinion this was not an issue, as it was one less thing to keep track of during the day out. The elevator was broken for a few days, but this didn't bother us as we always took the stairs anyway. The streets outside the hotel were a bit sketchy, but just make sure to keep track of your belongings and you'll be fine.

This hotel is an oasis of peace in the heart of Naples. It has the feel of a boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Close to the railway station so for us it worked nice because we visited Pompeii and access was easy. Streets around the hotel had rough edges but didn't felt thretened in any time. We stayed on the main roads and were not moving in the middle of the night. Room was clean and cleaned regularly. Breakfast wasn't from 5 star hotel, but serve the purpose. All in all value for the money. Distance to old tomw quarters was ~30 min walk, which we didn't mind.

Hotel San Pietro is a little gem hidden up a grotty back street. Don’t let the surroundings fool you though - we came to the conclusion most of Naples is like this. It’s convenient for the station & connections to tours etc, but best to do the slightly longer walk to get on the Metro at Duomo - that’s exceptionally modern & nowhere near as crowded as Termini. We stayed 3 nights in the middle of August. Our room was reasonably spacious, spotlessly clean with efficient air conditioning, which was an absolute must as it was sweltering outside. Bed was comfortable & very big! Breakfast is on the top floor in the rooftop cafe bar. Not an extensive choice but perfectly sufficient. My only critique is the lift is not for the faint hearted! The reception area is very nicely furnished but the stand out is the staff. All lovely, happy to help with directions, recommendations & nothing was too much trouble. Francesco, particularly, is an absolute gem - I could have adopted him quite happily! All in all we enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay again.
