We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Toboso Chaparil! From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were absolutely amazing — so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. Our room was always spotlessly clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect, with everything within easy walking distance, including the beautiful town, restaurants, shops and the beach. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Nerja. To make our trip even more unforgettable, my fiancé proposed to me here in Nerja on the Balcón de Europa! 💍❤️ So this place will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We had the most incredible time and made memories we will treasure forever. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Toboso Chaparil and would love to come back! 🇪🇸❤️

Just back from a 10 night stay. Great welcome, with lots of helpful information given. Hotel in the heart of Nerja, with a flat walk towards the Balcon de Europa, the town and many coves. Another beach can be found down the hill outside the hotel, as can the bus stop for the land train to rhe caves. The staff at the hotel were pleasant, and we found the hotel to be quiet, with a lovely roof top pool area that looks like it has been recently refurbished. The whole place inside is bright and appears newly painted. The room we had benefited from great air con and free safety deposit boxes. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. There isn't anything negative I can say about this hotel. For a base to explore what Nerja has to offer, it was great. The outside of the hotel could however benefit from a fresh coat of paint, but dont let this put you off; maybe that is next on their list! Would return. Nerja is beautiful, lots of tapas bars local to the hotel and an array of restaurants and shops a stroll away. 🇪🇸

Great place to stay if you're just needing a basic place to rest when visiting Nerja. The main thing that struck us is that it is kept very clean which goes to show that the staff care for your welfare. There is a decent sized pool and sun lounger area. We always found free beds. The breakfast room is a large, bright, airy room with a good selection of food to cater for all tastes and diets. It is a little bit away from the main old town of Nerja but, hey amigo, leg exercise is good for everyone. Do go for a room with a balcony / juliette balcony at the rear of the hotel. You won't make a wrong decision in deciding to stay here.

Wow where do we start, from the moment my wife and I arrived at the hotel , the guy at reception ( Wolfgang) was absolutely amazing and so so friendly welcoming and informative and explained everything to us .the hotel itself was brilliant, great pool area on roof with fabulous views and plenty of sun loungers . Breakfast every morning was fresh and a great selection, the rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels and linen. All staff were absolutely friendly and helpful. Management you should applaud your staff for their professionalism. We would highly recommend Toboso Chaparil , and so looking forward to seeing you all again next year if not sooner. Keep up the great work everyone. Billy & Janice x

We spent a lovely 5 days at Hotel Toboso Chaparil. It’s a small quiet hotel, friendly and in a great location, it is fairly basic and very clean. |We booked a standard room but when we got there we were given the option to upgrade to a room with a balcony for €40 for the whole stay - which we did and was great with gorgeous views and the hills. Rooms aren’t as big as they are in photos but very comfortable, the only thing that was missing that would have been good was tea making facilities. Also note there are no mini fridges - just in case you’re wondering. |Breakfast is from 8.25am and is served in the cafeteria, there is a cold and hot buffet breakfast, everything you could want. We left early in the morning when we were leaving and they prepared a couple of big breakfast bags for us - the service was impeccable. |They only serve breakfast, there are places to have dinner and lunch nearby. |Located just out side of the main centre - about an 8 minute walk to the main sites including the Balcony, beaches etc. |All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Was so disappointed with this hotel, the photos shown are not realistic, no bar no atmosphere in the hotel, however there is a bar next door to hotel where the staff were not very welcoming. We paid extra for our balcony which fitted one chair. Very surprised at jet 2 where we booked our holiday, Jet 2 should have checked out these hotels before sending people to stay in them. Construction works outside bedrooms from 8am to 6pm, very annoyed with the whole experience as it cost 1,900e for the 4 nights, having all that said Nerga was absolutely beautiful

Hotel conveniently located, clean and well maintained. I visited for one night with family but it was amazing for what was needed. A bunch of restaurants and bars nearby as well got to the hotel quite late, and up early in the morning for coffee, having had no problem finding something open. |Check in was painfully slow but other than that, all great. | stay

Impossible to get WiFi night after night- slow or just kept dropping - low data Rooms and common areas were clean The place was just a bit sad. Especially the room The pool was closed I had seen reviews before that when you get there they offer you a room upgrade if you want to pay extra. They duly offered! I don’t know why they don’t offer the better rooms initially- people might then return. Especially low season. The staff were neither friendly or unfriendly. I felt the staff attitude was: “ just put up with us” Definitely would not go back. Nothing pleasant about the stay My room was constantly full of smoke as the windows opened up to a brick wall - so people hanging out of windows were blowing smoke into our rooms.
