Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay in hotel Ona Marinas. A very big plus is the availability of the beach and sunbeds you can enjoy free. The hotel is very lively and they try to engage guests. The room was decent maybe a bit shabby but overall good. The cleaning crew was in our room every day and changed our towels. The food was good, there was a variety of a lot of stuff. The staff were friendly and very forthcoming. We liked a lot that the beach was very quiet and a bit “wild” no cafes around no loud music. Overall we would definitely come again!

We had an amazing holiday. The rooms was dated but very clean and comfy. The food was delicious 😋. We can't complain at all. All of staff very nice and helpful. We will be definitely back again. Thanks for everything 👌

The hotel and the surrounding area is well maintained. Room was clean and well facilitated. Hotel facilities were also quite good. Nice sea view. I do appreciate how they managed the restaurant, as they are extremely helpful by finding you an available table.I was happy to see the area was free from mosquitos, as we later visited Benalmádena near Málaga and suffered by mosquitos.Now to the painful bits:1. The WiFi was a big pain - the Internet connectivity is close to non existent, that I had to use my mobile cellular data through the entire stay. 2. The parking was difficult - there were plenty of parking spaces, but still overwhelmed by the holiday seasons. There is a dedicated car park but was locked and overcharged (15 EUR). I found it absurd as they advertised free parking. This was ended up rogue parking during the night, as many vehicles had to park on the curb or along the driveway.Will recommend a visit.

We stayed at Ona Marinas Nerja for 3 nights and paid over €780 for the stay, including breakfast and dinner. Honestly, apart from the sea view, direct beach access, and the pool, it was not worth the price. The biggest disappointment was the food. The quality was very poor, and some items, especially vegetables like potatoes, seemed to be reused for several days. The buffet lacked freshness and flavor. Even though breakfast and dinner were included, we often ended up eating outside because the food was simply not enjoyable. Service was overall average, and housekeeping was particularly disappointing. Our room was not properly cleaned for two days. On top of that, housekeeping staff were very disruptive in the mornings. On one occasion, they knocked extremely loudly on the door early in the morning, which genuinely startled us and woke us up abruptly. It felt aggressive and unnecessary, especially as we were still sleeping. Instead of a respectful check-in, it made us feel uncomfortable and rushed right from the start of the day. The room itself also felt outdated. There was a cheap plastic table on the terrace and an old television that looked decades old. For the price we paid, we expected much better standards and more modern equipment. Cleanliness in the common areas was also questionable. The carpet at the entrance of the reception was visibly dirty, which gave a poor first impression upon arrival. What is most disappointing is the value for money. Paying over €780 for just 3 nights should guarantee at least decent food, proper service, and well-maintained facilities. Instead, the experience felt far below what you can get in many other destinations, where hotels offer excellent buffets, modern rooms, and outstanding service for the same price or even less. Overall, the hotel relies mainly on its location. The view, beach access, and pool are nice, but everything else was very disappointing. We would not stay here again and would not recommend it at this price.

The location is ideal for relaxation. Swimming pool, sea. There was no big problem with the deck chairs, even though people quickly booked seats. The food is good. But I suggest being up to an hour after opening, as there are large queues afterwards. But the staff handles it well. Although not everyone can be satisfied. The downside is that there are few attractions by the sea. So, as I said before, the perfect place to rest. Rooms are fine but not too claen thoroughly. To the nearest town (2 km too warm to walk), so you have to arrange transport but there were no problems with that. Reception will always help. I recommend

Dont pay any attention to the naff reviews. Great hotel and location. We're on day 2 and so far we have no complaints. Large rooms, good layout and good standard. The sofa is a pull out double bed. Plenty of wardrobe space. Large balcony has a pool and sea and mountain view that is gorgeous. Wifi works well. Pool is large with plenty of loungers. Beach is grey sand with beautiful pebbles and calm easily swimable sea. Staff are friendly and have helped us woth a luggage issue. Food is varied and plentiful if you like salad, Fish, casseroles, potatoes and veg, pizza, bolognese, fruit, cold meats, cheese, soup, etc etc all the usual good stuff and its tasty and healthy. They give you a food box if you arrive late. Pool bar does often have small cue's but they clear fast enough and the drinks come in large measures. Life is good. So is this hotel!

Had a wonderful week's stay at this hotel. Room was perfect with pool & sea view & large balcony. Only ate breakfast there which was varied and ideal. Although outside the town, taxis were readily available and only took 5 minutes into the town. The staff on reception were excellent and helpful at all times and I did not have any delays checking in or out. Would definitely return and would recommend this hotel to anyone! I have friends who come here every year and always stay in this hotel too.

Rooms are adequate with most things you need. Shower over bath a bit outdated now and a struggle for me and hubby to get in and out for shower due to mobility issues. Also quite away from Nerja centre but again if you are fit it is no problem at all and is a lovely walk. There is a bus just outside hotel which takes you in and it's only 1€ each way so no problem. Food plentiful and lots of choices. The meats were really good. Chicken and pork especially. Pool looked lovely but it was Christmas when we went so too cold for most people to go in. Lounge nice for a drink during day and evening. Entertainment was available but we never went so unable to comment on that. We were All Inclusive and the drinks had sufficient choices from 10am till late.
