Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and the staff were absolutely superb. The valet gentlemen were always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Tangela and Shamika were equally wonderful and made me feel right at home. I truly appreciated being able to check in early, which gave me extra time to explore the town. The location is absolutely amazing, with so many restaurants, attractions, shops, and entertainment options within walking distance. It made getting around and enjoying the area incredibly convenient. I also loved the newly renovated rooms. However, my biggest disappointment was the cleanliness. I noticed drink stains on the nightstand, dust in several areas of the floor, and trash behind the headboard. For such a beautiful property, I expected better attention to detail from housekeeping. Despite these concerns, the exceptional hospitality and unbeatable location were definite highlights of my stay. I sincerely hope management improves the housekeeping standards because this property has so much to offer. With better cleanliness, the overall experience could easily match the excellent service provided by the staff.

I would only stay at this hotel if being adjacent to Bourbon Street is an absolute requirement. There are many nicer and better-operated hotels just hundreds of yards away at this same price point. We had a very rough stay and want to warn others. The three issues in order of severity: -Noise: Admittedly, there is little the hotel can do about its proximity to Bourbon Street and the inebriation of its guests, but it's the loudest hotel I've ever visited. The exterior walls are paper thin, and on several nights we listened to drunken meltdowns in the hallway. -Air Conditioning: The indicated thermostat temp directly below the cold air vent never dropped below 71. The actual room temperature was much, much warmer. The worst part is that the air conditioning would just shut off at 2 am every night, and we'd wake up to a stifling (76-degree indicated temp room by 3 a.m). Powering the thermostat off and on was the only way to restore the anemic AC to at least blowing air. We asked the front desk to fix this, but nothing ever happened. -The front desk staff: Took us 30+ minutes to check in because only one of the 3 individuals knew how to check in rooms booked by a third party (used credit card points; first time this has ever been a problem). Never followed through on our room AC issues. An elderly woman one evening even appeared to simulate a phone call until I just gave up trying to ask about the AC.

All the staff here were amazing. But the concierge, Roy, and the bellman, David were both so helpful. Great help finding vegan food and a taxi when we needed it. And booking a ghost tour. Unfortunately we did not come across the twin girl ghosts in the hotel. But still a great experience. The hotel was generally very quiet and the beds were quite comfortable. The pool was great, too. Great location. We would happily return.

Solid, but not spectacular. Great location in the heart of the French Quarter. Food was ok (at the hotel), I suggest venturing out for food. Very cool hotel bar. Nice, chill vibe with a great variety of drink options. The water pressure is not great (and by not great I mean barely passable for a shower), the Wi-Fi was awful, limited in-room entertainment options.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect for exploring New Orleans, and the hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The beds were super comfortable, too! The bar was a highlight, with great live music every night, incredibly friendly staff, and amazing Old Fashioneds! 🍸 Don’t forget to look down Orleans street at night to see touchdown Jesus! We had such a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to New Orleans!y

Everything was perfect. The hotel smelled wonderful and looked beautiful. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The room was beautiful and clean. The view was incredible. My overall experience was amazing!

Loved this place in 1973 but it is a little dated for 2026. Great service. The noise does not quiet down until about 2:30am. People walking on the street within 2 feet of our room were having a good time!
