This was my first time visiting this hotel and came with ky partner and dad to celebrate my grandmother's 73rd birthday. The facilities by themselves are already amazing, with a modern design filled with natural elements. But what really made this stay completely unforgettable was without a doubt the staff. I would like to make a special mention to Maria Inês who days before my arrival was already calling me to know more info on the celebration occasion and she made sure to not only upgrade our rooms but also make preparations throughout the entire stay on order for my grandmother to feel special. On her birthday (3/7) we dinned in Tempera restaurant and right away the hostess Jessica recognized and congratulated grandmother. The entire restaurant staff further suprised us with a cake and champanhe while singing happy birthday! Needless to say my grandmother even teared up for feeling so special! I will definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a 10 star service from the staff! Simply the best there is!

My wife and I had an outstanding stay at Praia D’El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort, and the service truly made it memorable. The breakfast was hands down one of the best we’ve ever experienced—an incredible variety of options to suit every taste. A special thank you to Mariana, who was an absolute delight and an exceptional host. She was warm, bubbly, and very personable. What really stood out was how she remembered our last name without even checking a list—such an impressive and thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely welcomed. The entire team at Tempera was equally fantastic—attentive, professional, and consistently delivering great service. Guest Relations also did an outstanding job throughout our stay. They were extremely attentive to our needs, even down to small details like ensuring we had a complimentary bottle of water every night. On the day of our departure, Micael from Guest Relations personally met with us, which made us feel truly valued. He thanked us for our loyalty as Elite Bonvoy members and played a key role in making sure everything was taken care of. Overall, this was a top-tier experience driven by exceptional hospitality. We truly appreciated the personal touches and look forward to returning in the future.

My experience at the hotel was overall very good. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms and facilities are on the whole good. I felt the bar area was a little "bright" in the evenings and could have been a little more intimate with softer lighting and perhaps less exposure to the lobby. Whilst the breakfast buffet was extensive and the staff were truly excellent and attentive the variety could be improved a little. There was only one chef on the omelette/egg counter which got busy on the weekends. The hot counter had the same items available for the six days of our stay. Perhaps they could mix them up a little.

We have an ADA American trained service animal. On their website, it said this, “Service Animals are welcome without a fee or documentation.” However, when we got there, they wanted us to prove everything, and if you live in the United States, you know that the American Disabilities Act does not have paper documentation. We had to show them all of our documentation through the airlines and through the government to get her there and the whole time we were at the hotel we got dirty looks from the employees. She is a good girl and did not go to the bathroom in the room, nor did she bark. But I felt like I was imprisoned in my room because they were so rude about her. Housekeeping was friendly and so were the people in the restaurants. But everyone at the front desk and the people that were running the hotel were awful. I would just say to not go there if you are disabled. There were so many screaming kids running around and my dog was the least of concerns.

Great place to getaway and relax! The views are incredible, service is outstanding, and the pool/spa was top notch. There were even little touches from the room attendants that were very much appreciated. The location is a bit isolated, but perfect for a quiet getaway. The food here was fantastic! Breakfast everyday was plentiful and tasty. I wish I would have asked what kind of cookies they had out with the almond filling. I’ve been craving them with my coffee ever since. 😁 We also ate from the bar/lounge and it was more than expected. If they offered an all inclusive option, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase it. Regardless, we’ll be back.

Really enjoyed my golf holiday as a solo traveller for this trip. Very clean and modern with super staff. The spa, gym and facilities were excellent and very relaxing during my stay. The. Concierge staff were super helpful for looking after luggage, advising on travelling the area by many available taxis, hire car or hire some bikes, and then places to visit. I visited Obidos and Peniche via Uber. All staff I found were very friendly and helped when I had to change rooms as I arrived a day early but both rooms were superb. The half board food and drink deal was excellent and breakfast certainly sets you up for the day or golf. An amazing holiday.

Shout out to Joana and Leonor - so helpful and kind. We had a terrific stay. Our villa was updated and beautifully furnished with so many comforts. Would definitely recommend this place. Loved how it was across from the beach and had a pool.

MIGUEL. the best poolside server we’ve ever experienced. So friendly, attentive, charming and funny. He made our stay so special and it was always good to see a friendly face round the pool and in the golf club. Highly rate his service and I hope he goes on to do great things :)
