Just fabulous. A true 5-star experience yet still a lovely boutique feel. |The staff was terrific, the location perfect and central. And as an added bonus, |there is an express train from the airport that stops about 200 feet across from the front of the hotel. Much faster than a cab, very simple at the airport, and a fraction of the price as well. Just a terrific property in the heart of Oslo.

The location of the hotel which is close to everywhere and the service of reception staff are amazing and Super…. However the rooms are not too clean as what was expected…. We’ve been surprised also with rule of giving each room a large still water bottle which is for staying in a hotel suite should be complementary…. But maybe it’s just because the bottled still water is expensive in Norway…. However need to maintain housekeeping services… And maybe renew the mattress and pillows to give more comfy stay … Overall it was a good 3 days in Oslo

Wow! The Hotel Continental was an amazing stay! We were there just after King Harald V's passing. All staff members we dealt with (reception desk, bell staff, housekeeping, restaurant, and bar) were very gracious and most helpful. Things were very stressful for both travelers and staff due to so many unknowns surrounding the closures of streets and major thoroughfares after the King's death and with the preparations for his funeral. I can't explain how wonderful it was to have so many helpful people in the hotel! We stayed in the Abel Suite, and it was simply perfect. We had a wonderful view from our living area, and having a half-bath in the entry was perfect! Our friend stayed in a junior suite and loved that, as well! I had the best shower I'd had in 14 days of travel when we arrived at Hotel Continental. And the Sprekenhus bath and body products were so amazing I had to purchase all of them to take home with me! I highly recommend Hotel Continental if you want to stay in the heart of Oslo. Walkable to the Royal Palace, historical sites, and so many shops and restaurants!

This Hotel is perfectly Located. Close to the Ferries and waterfront. Close to the Castle. Close to the National Theater. Close to the Palace - just a great place to explore Oslo.|But even if it weren't - you'd stay here!|Beautiful from the moment you walk in - Restaurants and Bars amazing. Front Desk always positive, always friendly.|Rooms - you'd have to see them. Spacious, comfortable, beautiful. If you are looking for a GREAT Hotel in Oslo - you've found it.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The staff were excellent — very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. Location is amazing! Unfortunately, the soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and noise can easily be heard inside the room, which affected the quality of sleep. Another major issue is that the curtains do not provide proper blackout. A significant amount of sunlight enters the room early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. In addition, the shower in the bathroom does not drain water properly, causing water to accumulate during use, which is inconvenient and unhygienic. For a hotel of this standard, I expected much better sound insulation, proper blackout curtains, and a well-functioning bathroom drainage system. The staff and service were great, but the room comfort definitely needs improvement.

Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast service and selection were excellent. Nicoline was especially sweet and friendly. Location of hotel was very convenient. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and we will return for sure if we come back to Oslo.

My husband and I stayed only for a night between Bergen and Munich trips, via American Express Platinum. This hotel provided an excellent service without cutting the corners which is extremely rare to encounter these days. Location was great, room decor also was. Housekeeping was impeccable (so quickly and in detail) which I appreciate deeply. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, especially with an upgraded room.
