Booked this hotel mainly based on price and I was very happy with the choice. Great location, staff were friendly, room was ideal with more than enough space and the highlight was definitely the breakfast which was possibly the best variety I've ever had. I'd definitely stay again if in Oslo

Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Clean, good bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed. Cool room in hot weather. Yes air con is a bit noisy but didn’t bother us as we were happy to be cool and the noise was a constant so easily ignored. Great view of Norway Football team homecoming parade through our window.

I really enjoyed staying here, however the room facing the street was a bit noisy with the church bell going off every 15 minutes or so. I got moved to another room which solved the issue for the rest of the stay but it is something to be aware of. The room itself was spacious and cozy in my opinion. I was impressed by the breakfast buffet, even by Scandic standards. The staff told me they had to scale it down a bit to reduce food waste which makes sense and I'm happy they did but they kept the luxurious parts, like avocados for all and amazing sour dough bread. They also had a few selected "exotic" fruits which were great! All the staff members were very accommodating but I'd like to give an extra shout out to Dragana in the breakfast area and Maja in the reception, they were extremely helpful and made my stay even better!

Me and my friends had a great stay at Scandic Victoria Oslo—the location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of major attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made exploring Oslo really convenient. The hotel itself is a nice, comfortable place with a welcoming atmosphere, and everything felt well-maintained throughout my stay, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to be centrally located.

We were familiar with the Scandic in Brussels, where we’d stayed before, and everything had been fine. At the one in Oslo, we were greeted rather curtly at reception by a small blond hair young man. I asked him the time limit for breakfast, and he replied that it was from 6.30 am to 10.30 am. The next day, we arrived at around 9.35 am for breakfast and were told it was only until 9.30 am! Fortunately, a very kind Asian lady understood the situation and brought out several choices of food for us – well done and a big thank to her, who was fantastic at every breakfast (which we then had at around 9 am)! The big disappointment was the complete lack of room service… Four days and three nights, the room was never cleaned or done. My wife had to straighten the duvets herself, etc. So there was no replacement of the dirty and wet towels – we had to help ourselves to take clean ones from a trolley at the end of a corridor…|No TV channels other than Norwegian ones; in a capital city, you’d at least expect an international selection or, at least CNN…|Otherwise, the rooms are correct, the breakfast is very good and varied, and the young women at reception are friendly. The only downsides, were the young man at reception (first day) who also gave us the wrong breakfast times—and the complete lack of room service… It’s a shame because everything else was very good, and a thousand thanks to the Asian lady at breakfast who was so cheerful, helpful and kind.

Excellent location in the centre of Oslo. Clean and tidy rooms. Good black out curtains. Shower could be more powerful. Air conditioning a bit noisy. We were on the second floor and could hear quite a racket from, I think, a nearby nightclub on Saturday night so the double glazing could probably be thicker. The gym is decent. And the absolute winner is the breakfast: great selection of food, great coffee and all very tasty. Shame the toaster is rubbish.

We stayed here on our return from bergen before our flight home, we had stayed at another hotel just around the corner at the start of our trip and I wish we had stayed here instead. Room was great, location is perfect and staff were really friendly. Unfortunately, we had an early flight so only had time to grab a quick breakfast, but there seemed to be a great selection but feel I cannot comment as to how good the hot breakfast was. My only bad point, if that is what you call it, was that on our arrival the lady on reception was also managing the bar single handed, so unless there are more staff at different times of the day, I can see a large queue waiting to check in, but, hopefully, it was just a one off

Review based on one visit. Mixed experience at Scandic Victoria. Room was quite dirty, dusty, found dirt under the bed and even a couple of nails on the floor. In contrast, the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide and fresh selection including avocado, pancakes (they do gluten free too), brown cheese, eggs (three ways), sausages, mackerel, loads of stuff. The restaurant is not open the rest of the day but you’re right in the centre so plenty of places to eat nearby. Lifts were quick with no standing around waiting.
