My first stay in Norway and such an amazing experience right from the start. Thon Hotel Storo truly impressed me. The rooms were spacious, beautifully clean, and fully equipped, so I felt genuinely comfortable throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the wonderful and friendly staff who created a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere — thank you very much for that. The breakfast was rich, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Another big plus is the shopping mall and metro station right next to the hotel, making it easy to get around Oslo. I will definitely be coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and the breakfast was truly exceptional. It was honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced, with an amazing variety, excellent quality, and so much care put into every detail. A special mention must go to Vincent, one of the hotel’s chefs, who was working at the breakfast preparation area. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and his dedication really made the breakfast experience even more special. Thank you, Vincent, and thank you to the entire team for such a fantastic experience. We will definitely remember this hotel and its wonderful breakfast for a long time!

Great Hotel to stay for Oslo explore. Located in Nydalen, next to shopping centre and bus stops (Bus 30 to Bygdoy peninsula with lots of museums or Bus 37 to city centre), nearby is also lines 4 and 5 T-bane (subway) station. Room was ok, staff were kind and helpful and there was also a gym on the floor. Room service was ok. On the ground floor, there is a restaurant Brasserie Ceres where we first experienced fantastic Norwegian cuisine. Also breakfasts were great.

Great hotel with good transport links (I think you have the metro, tram and bus all within 10 min walk) but it is worth mentioning that this is slightly out of the centre so it takes about 30 minutes to get in. For business travellers with offices around I guess that dosent matter but for tourists it might be slightly time consuming although the Ruter zone 1 transport pass does cover this so more on time rather than cost for transport here. Breakfast was splendid and I really enjoyed the spread and quality which I think is even better than other 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in Oslo and other parts of EU. Staff in breakfast was great, although reception staff was not the friendliest per se - professional though just not as friendly. I put a DND on my room door twice but both times housekeeping still came to clean my room so I’m not really sure if the signs mean anything. Amenities though was horrendous - nothing except poor quality towels and soap which were a let down. Overall good hotel but definitely more things could be done to achieve the maximum potential.

The hotel is conveniently located between two T stops making access to public transportation easy. These is also bus service from the airport to a stop a short walk from the hotel. ( Get information from the hotel). Rooms are clean, modern and quiet. Desk staff is very helpful. And the breakfast was amazing!

Stayed here for one Night during a businesstrip. Not easy to park here. A parking garage on the back of the hotel charged us 350 nok (35 euro) for 7 hours. Nice and inviting but somewhat dark lobby and frontdesk. Nice front desk staff. Nice bar and restaurant, but expensive as always in Norway. Wonderful medium hard beds. The rooms are fairly large. But cheap-isch furniture that are dented everywere. 2 stars for the furniture in the rooms. Large and wonderful bathrooms with fantastic floorheating, no cold feets here. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding. With a very large amount of things to choose from. 5 stars for the breakfast. But the staff was not nice to us. And they were not nice to a waiter from Nigeria or some other african country. The other younger staffmembers were evil to him, I do NOT expect that from a Norwegian hotel. Would I stay at this hotel again ? Yes, mostly due to the fantastic breakfast.

An awesome hotel! The room was clean, bright and modernly furnished. Not a hangar, but homely and not cramped, with a spacious, soft double bed. Complimentary coffee is available at the reception 24/7 (via a capsule coffeemaker). The breakfasts were the real gold here! A great variety of both local Norwegian as well as pan-european dishes of topmost quality made each breakfast a real pleasure at the start of the day. The location is what it is - not quite central, but easily accessible with either tram or t-bana. A large shopping mall is neighbouring the hotel, it easily serves most of anyone's needs.

I picked this hotel for its location. And that did not dissapoint, just so easy to access all parts of Oslo, and in 12 days we did not once see a traffic jam. Very dissapointing that it was not possible to put anything on the room. They said it was not part of the hotel policy. We stayed at Thon Hotel in Svolvaer before, and there it was not a problem. After the first day, we did not set foot in the restaurant or bar for the rest of the stay. The cocktail bar just 100 meters from the hotel did great business with us.
