We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The room was clean, modern and felt brand new. The location was also very convenient, with a train station right outside the hotel and the Eiffel Tower just a 15-minute walk away. The only thing to note is that, due to the nearby train station, you can hear the trains passing by. This might be a little disturbing for light sleepers, but personally, it wasn’t a major issue for me. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Paris. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family, and I would happily stay here again!

Disappointing Stay, Poor Customer Service and Inadequate Resolution I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our stay at Hotel Tourisme Avenue was very disappointing and fell well below the standard we have experienced at other hotels across Europe and the UK. One of the most surprising issues was that the toilet in our room had no lock whatsoever. The other two rooms booked for our family members both had enclosed toilet facilities with locks and sinks, so this felt particularly inconsistent and unacceptable. In all of our travels, this is the first hotel where we have encountered a toilet or bathroom facility that could not be locked. We also experienced problems with the air conditioning. Despite attempting to use it correctly, it did not produce any cool air and there was no audible fan operation. We reported this to reception during our stay and requested assistance, but the issue was never resolved while we occupied the room. Another significant problem was a leak in the bathroom which caused a health and safety risk. A member of staff attended our room, inspected the issue, opened a vent, and confirmed there was a leak. We were told that a technician would investigate further, but nobody attended before our departure. We were later disappointed to be told that no fault had been found, despite the issue having been acknowledged by a member of staff. The leak was not caused by water escaping from the shower screen, as suggested afterward. What was most disappointing was the lack of customer care. We raised our concerns at reception before checking out and explained that we were unhappy with our stay. The only solution offered was complimentary breakfast, despite the fact that we had already eaten and were about to leave. No real effort was made to understand the extent of the problems we had experienced or to provide a meaningful resolution. Following our feedback and complaint, we were offered only a very small compensation for the various issues we encountered, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. The combination of room maintenance issues, non-functioning air conditioning, the unusual bathroom setup, and the lack of effective customer service meant that the stay did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

I was very impressed. After dropping off my luggage in the morning, I found it already placed in my room when I checked in later that afternoon. Housekeeping services were provided daily, and the elevator was spacious. With the train and bus stations located right in front of the hotel, getting around was extremely convenient.

We spent four nights here this October and the breakfast room down on the lower level was hands down my favorite part of every single morning. Coming down around 7:45 AM when it was still grey and cold outside, the smell of fresh coffee hit you right away. I must have eaten three warm croisants every morning with that salted French butter and little spoonfuls of apricot jam, washing it down with hot cafe au lait from the machine while sitting at the small corner table by the brick wall. It felt so quiet and calm before heading out into the city crowds. The front desk staff was always smiling when we walked past to ask for directions to the metro, and falling into the comfortable bed after walking ten miles was an extremely perfect feeling. Such a great base for exploring Paris, especially with the metro station right outside.

We had a wonderful stay! Since we booked three rooms, we coordinated with the hotel in advance, and they kindly arranged for our rooms to be adjacent. The staff was incredibly welcoming and fluent in English, which made communication effortless. The rooms were well-designed, featuring a convenient split layout for the bathroom and toilet. We especially appreciated the high-quality amenities and the TOTO toilet. Highly recommended!

The staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful for the duration of our stay. Even though our French was extremely limited to greetings, thank you & goodbyes, they made communication very easy & comfortable. The room was on the tight side with 4 family members & large suitcases, which was the only downside, but not a major negative of our stay. Location to the Tower & access to the Metro system was great given that a Metro Station was located immediately outside the Hotel. Also, a good selection of restaurants located right outside the front door along with a great bakery. Room was very clean & our room had a good size bathroom & large shower. Would recommend Hotel Tourisme for anyone wanting to stay conveniently located in Paris.

I selected Hôtel Tourisme Avenue after spending quite a bit of time researching hotels online and exploring Google Maps. I was looking for a great neighborhood with convenient access to the Eiffel Tower, and this hotel exceeded every expectation. Everything about our stay was outstanding. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. The room was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what we hoped for after long days exploring Paris. We were fortunate enough to be there during Bastille Day, and the atmosphere was unforgettable. Watching the city come alive as people streamed through the nearby Métro stations and filled the streets with excitement made for an incredible experience. The location could not have been better. There are wonderful cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and charming local shops just steps from the hotel. It feels like a true Paris neighborhood rather than a tourist district, yet you're within easy walking distance of so many attractions. Having the Métro entrance right outside the hotel made getting anywhere in Paris effortless. The combination of the location, the quality of the accommodations, the outstanding staff, and the excellent value made this one of the best hotel experiences I've had. If I return to Paris, there is no question that I will stay at Hôtel Tourisme Avenue again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, convenient, and memorable stay in Paris.

had 2 nights in a suite, 1 double and 2 single beds. housekeeping do a great job, room smelt nice and was super clean. very large shower a bonus. air con was a blessing as it was super hot outside. beds comfy and sound proofing was very good too.|one negative - breakfast was very basic.. and once empty didnt get filled up again quickly so very limited cooked choice, lots of fruit and pasties though,|lent us an adapter too and seemed friendly to English travellers.|Thanks for a lovely stay
