Housekeeping and breakfast staff were lovely. Below expectations for a 4*. No kettle or tea/coffee or mug/spoon in the room. No robe and slippers. All provided when asked. I was advised it was because the spa was under refurbishment. I was not made aware the spa was unavailable at the time of booking. Well stocked minibar. Bathroom was lovely.

Excellent value for money. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, making it ideal for 2–3 guests. We requested an extra bed in advance, and the hotel was happy to accommodate our request. Check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle free. The location is excellent, with easy access to shopping areas, the metro, and the train station, making it convenient for exploring the city. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

Le Mathurin Hotel & Spa is in the later stages of a full renovation. I stayed a week in room 301 from August 17th, the room which had been extremely tastefully redecorated and only recently I'd say. The entire lobby of the hotel has been massively revamped and looks absolutely incredible with its new contemporary styling. As usual the hotel, and staff were sublime and special mention & thanks to Baptiste, Didier & Aurelie for their amazing service and attention.

+ Location is convenient/ central + room was for Paris quite spacious and quiet - air-conditioning is pointing at bed and blowing full speed onto you even when on lowest level - Duvet must be synthetic as I sweat like crazy and I usually never sweat - door to toilet didnt fully close - water dispenser at lobby gave us diarrhea Overall rather a 3-star than a 4-star. Hotel is going over major renovations. We got an old room, which was still quite pretty.

Good breakfast, great location, helpful staff. All in all a great place to say if you are looking for a boutique hotel in the heart of Paris. The gym and spa are closed for refurbishment so I did not experience either.

Very good location, close to everything! Breakfast was also very good, clean room, friendly staff. Nice new renovated parts. Will be excellent once finished renovations. We were not disturbed by the renovation.

The room was v cozy and clean.. location was excellent as well.. didnt like that the toilet itself is separated and was next to a sink... staff were all v helpful and nice... will be definitely going back

They were dishonest (or super forgetful) to let guests know on Booking or Expedia that they’re under MAJOR renovations and that the spa (they called themselves “Hotel & Spa”) is shut down due to renovations. Of course, you will find, feel and smell renovation / construction dust in the floor hallway, elevator and temporary lobby.
