The staff was very nice. I traveled by myself, and the room size was perfect. The location was convenient. I liked the security codes used to enter both the building and the unit. It is also close to the subway. I arrived late, but I was still able to check in without any issues. One suggestion would be to offer online check-in, since the front desk is not staffed 24/7. That said, the staff was very accommodating and made the process easy.

Room was very overpriced for size and not clean. Mold in bathrooms and in need of maintenance throughout. Too far outside of city to be walkable to attractions. Better & more affordable places to stay near Paris

*Warning* Current conditions do not match older reviews! We were shocked to check in and find mold all over bathroom walls, ceilings, shower was filthy & rusty and overall dirty throughout flat. Management was RUDE and responded “ if you don’t like it, you can leave”, so we did. Way better & more affordable options in Paris. Didn’t find location convenient either. Not walkable to any major Paris attractions

We booked Matissia for three nights. The pictures looked like it was a decent sized apartment for two people that are not a couple. So using both sleeping options. Unfortunately it was a bedroom, sofa- living room, bathroom and kitchen squeezed into a tiny space. The bedroom is cute but the person sleeping in the kitchen will have a very noisy time. You can hear every word from your neighbors, the walls are paper thin. The fridge hums loudly on and off. The worst part however was the smell which made sleeping with closed windows (super loud traffic and construction) impossible because it smelled like a dirty toilet. After complaining they managed to improve that. The bedding is cheapest quality. There is a big folded Ikea table behind the sofa which I am curious how they intend to place it anywhere in the room. Basically I have to say it is a bit of a rip off and false advertising and I would not recommend to book. I will certainly never return. I have stayed in many places in Paris including an Airbnb for 60 Euros the night which was worlds better than this. And 10am check out? Are you for real? Very underwhelming overall. P.s The reservation was under my friend’s name. Saying that you don’t have the name in your records underneath every bad review is pathetic. Besides you took a picture of my I.D card so this is just a straight up lie but perfectly reflects the scammy mentality.

We had a great stay at Le Matissia hotel! The apartment was perfect, good amount of space, extra goodies, great view. Honestly, Gauthier (hope I spelled this correctly) made our stay so much better. He provided so many suggestions, helped us plan our days, and answered our many questions. Thank you!!

RUN! 2 bedroom falsely advertised. Small with poor conditions and not even a hotel? Run down "rentals" outside of city center. Not walkable to any major Paris attractions. Better & more affordable stays elsewhere.

We had an amazing stay with our family of 4. The room was very nice and our host Gautier was very helpful. The location was amazing, very close to the metro and very easy to get around.
