The location was amazing- we stayed there solely for the short walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and activities and its nice pool. The on site manager was so nice and helpful. However, the cleaning of this place can be significantly improved. Walking up the stairs to our room, we spotted multiple cobwebs and marks all up the hallways as well as lots of dust. The rooms were in need of a deep clean and complete refresh. The amount of hair in the couches, pillows, rugs and just overall furniture is disgusting. The bathrooms lights flicker constantly and they’re just old and unclean. Looks a bit tired which is a shame because this hotel is lovely.

Excellent location. One block to the sand of 4-mile beach and maybe three blocks to the center of the small town of Port Douglas. The setup is like a condo and the unit we had was #4 on the first floor. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. There is a small outdoor area with a pool but no view of the beach. I believe there is parking for cars, we didn't have one. Port Douglas is a fun small town, most of the shopping and dining is all on the main street. Safe and clean and very walkable.

Some pros and cons of this accommodation in Port Douglas. Overall, our stay was fine but I think I probably just expected a little more given the price per night. Pros Location is great - close to beach, marina and downtown Free underground parking Spacious Units Nice Pool Area Cons Definitely needs a refresh - everything in the condo except the patio furniture just feels dated and a bit beat up Despite many efforts, could not get the 'Smart' TV going for streaming Seems like kitchen has been put together from a garage sale or whatever people have left - a lot of random stuff The two singles didn't work great for us in the one room - beds seemed a bit short even for my daughter

Stayed here in August 2025. Our room was great, two bedrooms that sleeps 4 people. Nice quality bathrooms in eaxh. Great kitchen and balcony for cooking and eating. Super close to beach which was amazing, like 1 minute walk close... Short walk to the main street to where the shops are and a short walk to the marina. Pool was great, wasnt busy when we were there so was lovely. BBQ was well used by us for dinners most nights! Highly recommend this spot for families with kids

Absolutely thrilled that we ended up staying here – we got a great last minute deal, and I thought maybe the price was too good to be true. Instead, we ended up in a lovely two bedroom apartment, a cafe on the corner, the only netted swimming beach at the end of our street, and a 5-10 minute stroll into town. The apartment was very comfortable and well-equipped, aircon in both bedrooms, brand new TV, kitchen well-stocked if you wanted to cook, extra beach towels supplied, and staff were lovely. Pool was also amazing – large, clean, plenty of chairs. Can’t believe we stumbled across this by chance. Loved it, highly recommend for a relaxed and comfy stay. You don’t need a car if you’re staying here given the beach, shops, and restaurants are all walking distance, but there is a car hire place on the Main Street if you need one for a day trip. If you have family members or small children who struggle in the heat or need extra assistance however, free parking spots are included with each unit – another bonus.

A really great location, close to swimming area of beach and easy walk to the main shopping street. Our apartment was looking a little run down, not as new and modern as those pictured on the site, but it was clean and spacious. Had everything we needed. The pool was nice but would be good if it was maintained a bit more. Overall, for the price, it is good value for the space and location.

The rooms are great for a family. Ours had two bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 twin single), two ensuites, a good kitchen and lounge. The balcony was a great place to have meals. The pool was warm but can get a bit over crowded. The BBQ by the pool could also do with an upgrade. It is a short walk to the main shopping strip and only 10 minutes walk to the wharf where the reef boats depart.

Pros - very short walk from best part of the beach, close to town so you can walk to restaurants, large apartments, quiet, ok value for Port Douglas, pool is nice. Our apartment had a big comfy balcony.|Cons - the 2 bedroom we had needed a reno and new furniture. |General - (this isnt about the hotel) the beach was closed the whole week were there due to winds, even though its always windy at Port Douglas. So whoever in the council makes these stupid decisions needs to be sacked as the waves were small and there was a roped off shallow area where people should have been allowed to swim, noting it was school holidays so there were plenty of grumpy kids (and parents) !!!
