Relaxed accommodation in the heart of Port Douglas. The rooms are spotless. We got to see two different rooms as we stayed in one and visited with some other guests. The resort managers are friendly and have amazing local knowledge and are quick to point you in the right direction to local attractions. From a location point of view it is about as close as you want to town, the beach and within easy reach of Cairns by car or shuttle. Did I also mention the heated pool to soak in? Great after a hot day out exploring.

The White House in Port Douglas was absolutely fabulous and truly one of the best stays we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, Tony and Michelle were incredibly welcoming and kind, making check-in easy and making us feel right at home straight away. The location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach and about 5 minutes into town, so everything is within easy reach without needing a car. The apartment was spotless, beautifully presented, and clearly designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The views were stunning and made every morning feel special. You can really tell Tony and Michelle put so much care into the place. Everything was thought through, from the cleanliness to the little details that make a holiday feel effortless. A perfect spot for a relaxing Port Douglas escape, we would definitely come back again!

Clean and tidy, with beautiful grounds. Lots of bird calls but that's everywhere in Port Douglas. Service was top notch with keys and info left for our after hours arrival. Rooms are large and well setup. Only five minutes walk to town and one to the beach.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this apartment / hotel in Port Douglas. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself was incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. You can really tell that a lot of care has gone into the layout—it’s practical, logical, and makes you feel at home straight away. It was also spotless, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The owner was truly delightful—charming, welcoming, and always helpful without ever being intrusive. It made a big difference to feel so well looked after. And the location is simply perfect. Everything is within easy reach, and it’s an ideal base for enjoying all that Port Douglas has to offer. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing visit to the area.

I love staying at The White House due to its location across from the beach and an easy walk into town. It has a lovely feel there and the verandahs are great for sitting outside have wine and nibbles. I also enjoyed the pool after a hard day shopping. I would recommend staying here to everyone. Quiet and peaceful being just a short distance from the Main Street

We had a wonderful stay here. Ideal location 2 mins to patrolled beach and The Surfy and 5 mins to main street. The White House is so comfortable, clean and beautifully maintained, an absolute credit to manager Tony who is welcoming, helpful and available. We are going back this year and highly recommend it to family and friends.
