Our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) had a great time here. The pool area is fantastic, however be aware the tennis courts (including basketball ring) are locked and access is through key from reception which must be arranged during reception hours. Beds were comfy, aircon was good, however couches and outside chairs are not particularly comfortable. Overall good value for money!

Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. The apartment was very comfortable and extremely well equipped with a full kitchen including fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher and a laundry with washer and dryer. The pool was great and well used by my children. My friend who previously lived in Cairns told me the Nimrod was where he stayed on his yearly trip to Port Douglas - recommendation indeed.

Apartments are individually owned so it depends which one you get. Number 15 was dirty and not well set up for a holiday rental. There was a random selection of scrappy kitchenware and it all needed washing before we could use it. The aircon in one room smelled of cigarettes, there was dust and grime everywhere on walls, cupboards, floors, blinds, lights and fans. The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, the furniture and fittings old. The owner’s junk filled some of the cupboards, and there were cockroaches around. We were visiting family and I knew the apartments were fairly basic. I wasn’t expecting hotel level accommodation, but apartment 15 was below standard. The whole place needed a proper scrub, steam clean and fitting out with better quality bedding and kitchenware at a minimum. Other units seem better equipped. Sheets and towels provided by the resort were at least clean. The complex has lush tropical gardens, is peaceful, and the pool area is nice. Be selective with the apartment somehow when you book.

What a charming little place with a lovely pool and communal BBQ area. |Apartments were all clean and modern with a view of the pool and gardens. Felt very safe and well looked after - early morning drilling was a bit unnecessary but all was forgiven as the price was good. Ideally need a car to get around but a lovely Italian restaurant was within walking distance to the apartments.

Great location and fantastic staff—everyone was super friendly and helpful. The pool area with the cascade feature was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The apartment was very spacious, with a large living room, well-equipped kitchen, and all appliances working perfectly. The TV was huge, and we loved the private terrace out back. Overall, great value for money—definitely worth the price and would highly recommend.

The apartments are located about 5 minutes drive from the town centre making it difficult to walk around to places to visit They are lovely spacious and breezy appartments with wonderful beds. Pool towels have a $5 fee. Remember to bring all tea and coffee and milk. We were told there was only a welcome pack but this was less than average motel room amount. Remember washing powder. None provided. The shower was awesome. Large rain shower with great water heat and pressure. Enjoyed that very much. Parking was for one car only even with the large appartment. However there are other parks a walk away. Leanne and her staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you. Beautiful places to eat in town. Good television reception etc. The pool was fabulous and large. Safe and well planned. Easy for child supervision. Lots of shady places to sit.

I’m in 2 minds about writing this review. The resort managers were absolutely lovely, it is a family run business and I love that. The location is good and the facilities are great, beautiful pool and bbq area with plenty of seating. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and well fitted out with full size kitchen and laundry. But… |The unit is tired and not in great condition. Tile falling off the wall in lounge area, couches stained, door to laundry fell off (hubby fixed) dust was really thick on the back of the headboard in bedrooms, I cleaned as I couldn’t cope with it! The kitchen utensils were so greasy and sticky they had to be washed before using or we just didn’t touch them. Mould throughout the shower and as it was black tiles and grout you really couldn’t be certain to the extent of mould and grime. The curlews (which I love) sit outside the screen doors during the night so there is bird poop all over the patio. We also had concerns about one of the scrub hens who seems to have a damaged leg, hopefully a wildlife cater can assess it? Normally I would have asked to change rooms, but we were so tired from our travels we just didn’t have the energy. I was planning on chatting with management on checkout but we must have left early as office was closed. There is also a lack of obvious rubbish disposal points, our bin was overflowing and we would have liked to empty it but couldn’t find a place to do so.

Great self catering place in Port Douglas with the kids. Leanne and Gus were so nice and even managed to get the washing machine fixed on Good Friday. The apartment was spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Fast internet and even Foxtel in the TV. The lagoon pool is grea, an the location is fantastic.
