The room is comfortable, nice big bathroom. The breakfast is a buffet, including eggs, sausages and much more. Very good quality and no restriction on the amount, which is a big plus. Also, we felt very welcome to stay in the lobby for a few hours waiting for our bus late at night although we were out of the room earlier that day. Very convenient from the reception at the lobby.

The Hotel is located right in the center of Puno. The rooms are a bit tired but perfectly adequate. Hair dryer in the bathroom. Lots of hot water for the shower over a bath that has no plug. The breakfast is varied, although the breakfast room is in a large and not particularly pleasant space. Heater provided in the room. Tea and coffee is available in the reception. No free drinking water available.

Sol Plaza Hotel in Puno is centrally located, close to everything in town. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bed was nice. The only downside was the bathroom: the bathtub shower is very outdated, and you can only access the shower from one corner of the tub, which isn’t very convenient—this part really needs an update. Otherwise, everything else was fine. It’s also a perfect base for tours to the Uros Islands. If you’re looking for a hotel in the city center, this is a good choice.

Recently stayed at the Sol Plaza Hotel and enjoyed it. My wife and I stayed over on 2 different nights in between we stayed on an island on Lake Titicaca. Hotel staff was great. They let us leave our luggage with them on the in between day. The location is perfect for wandering around Puno. The room was spacious and clean. They offered a breakfast that was ok. My only concern was that the bathtub/shower is a jacuzzi tub and is very difficult to step in and out. You need to be careful as there is no step. If going back to Puno would consider staying there again

I spent 2 nights at this hotel and it was an excellent experience. The entire staff was very professional and extremely helpful. The hotel is located on a pedestrian only road approximately 80 meters from the main square and all the restaurants and bars. It was fairly quiet considering the location. The rooms and common areas were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet daily 6-9am. Rooms have safe box, heater, refrigerator, tub and table with 2 chairs. Most of tv channels are in Spanish only. Highly recommended and will stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Sol Plaza Hotel! An excellent location just metres from the main square and Lima Street, with clean, comfortable rooms, a wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. Most importantly… we had left something valuable in the room upon departure, and before we’d even noticed it missing, we received a message from hotel staff saying they’d found something that belonged to us. They went above and beyond to take this item to the bus station to have it securely sent to us in Cusco right away. We much appreciated the kindness, honesty and professionalism. Thank you very much!

Excellent. A tour agency booked for us one night there. By far the best hotel we got in out Peru trip. The staff is very friendly and professional. Everyone speaks English (which is rare in Peru), the hotel rooms are real hotel rooms. The location is barely few meters from the main square.
