Absolutely loved our trip here and highly recommend. Admittedly we never left the resort but there was tons to do to keep everyone entertained. The food wasn’t outstanding but definitely fine and good for our kids etc. Really enjoyed the character breakfast and the stay in general. Would highly recommend for a family vacation. We went in the middle of October and it was much slower for the resort and therefore enjoyable but I can imagine this place gets packed and unsure how that would affect the experience.

First, I want to say that I would never stay at this place again—even if it were free.
My family of four came here for vacation, and our bad experience started at check-in. We waited at least 40 minutes just to get our room keys.
When we finally got to the room, the floors were dirty, and it was obvious the room had not been properly cleaned. Everything felt old and outdated. The TV remote didn’t work, and when staff came to fix it, the screen still had the previous guest’s requests displayed.
Room service was also terrible. Every time we ordered, it took nearly two hours for our food to arrive. My kids actually fell asleep waiting for their meals.
The app didn’t work, making it nearly impossible to make restaurant reservations. One employee would tell us that reservations weren’t needed after a certain day, then we’d show up and be told by someone else that reservations were required.
The food was mediocre at best and often served cold. There were also no characters walking around the resort like we expected. If you want your kids to see the characters, you have to pay extra for the character breakfast or dinner.
On our second-to-last day, I ate lunch by the pool and got sick afterward. I would definitely avoid the burgers.
Overall, this experience was terrible and a complete waste of money. To make matters worse, they constantly try to sell you a timeshare—even during checkout.
I also wouldn’t consider this a kid-friendly resort. There were no plastic cups or child-sized utensils available, which made me uncomfortable with young children. For a resort that markets itself to families, I expected more accommodations geared toward kids.

Brgrph Restaurant was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to our waiter, Henry, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to come back!
We also want to recognize the amazing team at the Mango’s Pool bar (Alexis/ Zuleika/ Luis) the bartenders and servers were always friendly, welcoming, and provided exceptional service throughout our stay. We highly recommend this bar and can’t wait to come back!

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with our current stay at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana. What makes this experience particularly upsetting is that I am not a first-time guest. I specifically chose to return to this resort because of the exceptional experience my son and I had here in September 2022 for his sixth birthday.
In 2022, from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. I was greeted with champagne, my son received a special children’s drink, check-in was seamless, our room was ready, and the staff seemed genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. That experience left such a positive impression on my son that, for his 10th birthday, he begged me to bring him back.
Unfortunately, the resort we returned to in 2026 feels completely different from the one we remembered.
From the moment we arrived, there was a noticeable lack of hospitality. There was no welcome champagne, no children’s welcome drink, and very little greeting or acknowledgment. Our room was not ready, and the birthday sash that was supposed to be provided for my son was never delivered at any point during our entire stay.
More concerning than the service issues were the conditions in our room. The tiles inside our private pool were literally coming loose. My son was able to pick loose tiles up from the pool, and he actually CUT HIMSELF after stepping on one. This is not simply a cosmetic maintenance issue—it is a safety issue involving a child at a family resort.
Our air conditioning also did not function properly throughout our stay, despite the resort being notified.
Upon arrival, we additionally discovered that our room access was not working. Initially it appeared to be an issue with our bracelet, but we later learned that the room’s electronic door/access mechanism itself was malfunctioning and had to be repaired. After already waiting for our room, having to deal with an access problem immediately upon arrival added yet another unnecessary inconvenience.
Dining has been one of the most frustrating aspects of this stay. There appears to be no consistent information regarding restaurant reservations. One staff member will say reservations are required or available, while another says they are not. Restaurants are also closed on certain days, leaving guests with even fewer dining options.
On multiple occasions, we attempted to dine at restaurants only to be told they were full. At an all-inclusive resort, a paying guest should not repeatedly be left wondering where they are supposed to eat because restaurants are either closed or unable to accommodate them.
Room service did not resolve the problem. On one occasion, I placed a room-service order that simply NEVER ARRIVED. I eventually had to go to the concierge myself because I needed to find something as basic as pizza for my son. On other occasions, getting room service was difficult simply because calls went unanswered repeatedly.
This was particularly frustrating at a resort specifically marketed toward families and children. I found the child-friendly food options extremely limited. At a Nickelodeon resort, parents should not have to struggle to find appropriate, accessible meals for their children.
The operating hours were another disappointment. Dining and bar options closed surprisingly early, which further limited an already inconsistent all-inclusive experience. Guests should not be paying all-inclusive resort prices and then find themselves struggling to obtain food later in the evening.
The overall food quality was also significantly below what we experienced during our previous visit.
Most heartbreaking for me, however, was my son’s birthday experience.
We specifically returned to celebrate his 10th birthday because of how special this resort made him feel when he turned six. I also paid approximately $200 for the character breakfast on his birthday. Yet there was virtually no birthday acknowledgment beyond a high-five. There was no cupcake, candle, small birthday presentation, or meaningful effort to recognize that a child was celebrating his birthday.
For a paid character breakfast at a resort built around creating memorable experiences for children, I expected much more. The breakfast itself was essentially the same type of breakfast already available at the resort. At the very least, I expected my son to receive a small birthday acknowledgment.
I made my son feel special on his 10th birthday. Unfortunately, I cannot say the resort did.
Beyond these specific incidents, the attitude and hospitality of the staff throughout the property felt dramatically different from our 2022 experience. Interactions frequently felt indifferent, dismissive, or unfriendly. Whether this is due to staffing levels or other operational issues, I cannot say, but as a guest, the difference was impossible not to notice.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I recommended this resort to a friend based entirely on my previous experience, and she is currently staying here as well. It is embarrassing to have enthusiastically recommended a property that is providing an experience so different from the one I described to her.
We did create beautiful memories on this trip, but those memories were created by my family—not because the resort delivered the experience that convinced us to return.
I spent my money and, more importantly, chose to spend my son’s milestone 10th birthday here because Nickelodeon Punta Cana had previously earned my trust. I did not return randomly. I returned because my six-year-old son remembered this resort four years later and specifically asked to celebrate his 10th birthday here.
After this stay, I cannot imagine returning, nor could I confidently recommend this property to another family.
Given the number and severity of the issues we experienced—including the safety hazard that resulted in my son being cut by a loose pool tile I do not believe an apology alone adequately addresses what occurred.
I would appreciate this complaint being escalated to the appropriate management or guest-relations team for review.
I sincerely hope Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts takes these concerns seriously, because the difference between the resort we loved in 2022 and the experience we received in 2026 was extraordinary.
I look forward to your response and proposed resolution.
Sincerely,|Leticia

BUYER BEWARE: Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana Is Not Worth the Money!
My family stayed at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana from October 10–17, 2026, and we were extremely disappointed. For the thousands of dollars spent, we expected a luxury family vacation, but the experience fell far short of our expectations.
The food was frequently cold and tasteless, restaurants were often closed or unavailable, and our room-service order was never received the first time. Character photographs felt rushed, evening entertainment was very limited, and there seemed to be too much emphasis on selling additional packages and experiences.
The water park was the only mildly positive highlight. Overall, the service, food, and entertainment did not justify the premium price.
Honestly, we could have considered a Disney cruise for the same money and potentially had a much better vacation.
My advice: Do your research, compare alternatives, and don't judge this resort by its marketing alone. Based on our experience, I would not recommend it to families expecting a true luxury vacation.

Service not too good but Ramona is a great worker ! It’s about an hour away from the airport and room service is about an hour and change wait instead of 30-45 minutes like usual places ! There also have been times where I have ordered and called for an update and they stated my order doesn’t exist or they’ll say 10 more minutes and I wait an extra 25 minutes. Not much to do here but the kids had fun with the family and made friends. Not much food options if you you don’t eat pork not worth the money but most the workers are extremely nice especially Ramona. The rooms don’t have any blow dryers but you can request it from your concierge, mine was Nicholas and he was absolutely amazing!

To begin with, I would like to commend this resort for its exceptional service. The staff and personnel were truly outstanding and professional. Every individual we interacted with on the ground—servers, housekeeping, maintenance, and even the groundskeepers—exhibited remarkable dedication and care. On our second day, when the power unexpectedly went out, the staff demonstrated remarkable resourcefulness and common sense, ensuring that we were well taken care of and kept entertained throughout the situation. Personally, I did not encounter any unfriendly behavior and was consistently greeted with respect and courtesy. Throughout my stay, I felt genuinely valued and heard by the resort and its team.
The resort's biggest shortcoming is the lack of feeling like a Nick resort. We only saw characters from Dora and Paw Patro, and thats it. The characters were not present as much, and being limited to a specific location. Nick is so much bigger than 3 shows; they could have had a 90s baby Nick and amplified the experience. I also tought it was weird that it was a Nickelodeon resort, but there were no Nickelodeon tv stations on the TV; thats gets me to wonder if the people in the area understand or know the culture of this resort/Nickelodeon. It didn't feel like the culture was represented properly.

She treated us with such genuine warmth and kindness, ensuring every detail of our spa day was flawless. Her hospitality made an already relaxing day feel incredibly special and personalized.
