Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa - Adults Only

The best time to visit is from December through April, when rain is less frequent and temperatures are mild, around 27-28°C. May through November is hotter and rainier, with July and August seeing the most rain days. The driest months are January, March, and December, though February and April also have moderate rain. For the most comfortable weather, plan your trip between December and April.

Stay in Bávaro for the widest choice of all-inclusive resorts and easy beach access, ideal for first-timers and families. Uvero Alto suits couples and adults-only stays, with quieter stretches of sand. Puntacana Resort & Club is a gated community with upscale hotels like The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club, good for golf and privacy. Downtown Punta Cana is convenient for local shops and dining, though not beachfront.

Start with Scape Park for its caves, cenotes, and zip lines. Cotubanamá National Park offers pristine beaches and mangroves. Juanillo Beach is a calm, white-sand stretch. The Natural Pool is a shallow sandbar where you can wade in turquoise water. Downtown Punta Cana gives a taste of local shops and eateries.

Saona Island is a classic day trip, with white-sand beaches and turquoise waters. Monkeyland offers a chance to see and interact with playful monkeys, often combined with a plantation safari. Scape Park and Blue Hole provide a full day of adventure, including cenotes and nature trails. Domitai Park Hacienda features multiple attractions, from cultural experiences to outdoor activities.

Plan 4 to 5 days to cover the main sights: a day for Scape Park and the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve, another for Bavaro Adventure Park and the Natural Pool, and a day to relax at Juanillo Beach or Playa Blanca Beach. Add a day for a full-day tour to Saona Island or Monkeyland, which needs an extra day beyond your beach and park time. If you want to include Cotubanamá National Park, give yourself one more day.
