Google· 2 months agoThe highlights were definitely the modern rooms, excellent food, spotless grounds, and exceptional staff. Tierra was our favorite restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Asian restaurant as well. The pools were clean, spacious, and offered both lively and quiet areas depending on your preference. The resort is extremely well maintained, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to provide friendly and attentive service. A few areas could be improved. The resort app was sometimes inaccurate regarding buffet hours and service requests. We also found it inconvenient that the resort could not exchange Canadian dollars or consistently provide change for larger bills. Lastly, we enjoyed the live entertainment, particularly the instrumental performances. However, the vocal performances were somewhat inconsistent, and we felt the resort atmosphere would benefit from a greater focus on instrumental music. Overall, Secrets Tide delivered a peaceful and enjoyable vacation. We would happily return and recommend it to couples looking for a modern, clean, and relaxing all-inclusive resort.

Tripadvisor· 2 weeks agoWe spent a long weekend here! Started with our butler Andreina picking us the perfect room ... secret ocean view! She made our trip so very easy and perfect. Checked in with us numerous time a day to be sure that we had everything we needed! Tierra skirt steak was my favorite. Surf and turf at Oceania was a close second.|Preferred pool, corner spot is where we would land each day! Ocean view and still in the middle of everything. Crafts we an extra this trip - candle making, amber and larimar bracelets ... always something to do or for me it was to just set and people watch and read. Have already booked our next trip with friends in February!!

Google· 3 months agoI went with my wife for our honeymoon and after expediting secret tides hospitality I felt that we have made the best decision. Whole resort would make an effort to make you travel comfortable and an unforgettable one. There were many highlights from our trip of 7 nights. 1. Resort has curated wonderful daily activities which would keep you entertained and even they organized different night shows so that the guests can enjoy their day and night time both. 2. Hospitality is top notch all 6 restaurants were great. I personally didn't loved the food from El patio Mexican restaurant regardless their food curator has done a wonderful job with their buffets and Ala carte restaurants. Guests would be able to feel the food through restaurants interior design which I felt was great to have. 3. Resort has an entertainment team which would come personally to you for dancing, talking and elevate your experince for each activity you are taking part in. I would personally mention 2 such names from this team which are ANGEL & STEPHANIE which were with us for all 7 days and were engaging us. 4. Resort has a top notch spa with wonderful masseuse working for them. We had spa for 80 minutes and hydro therapy. Our masseuse name was JULIA & STEPHANIE (Different individual) which did a great work with their massages. 5. Lastly the location, Resort has the cleanest and biggest beach that we experince along that shoreline and they made real effort to kept it that way. We both enjoyed our time there and would surely go other Hyatt properties in Mexico and other location and would highly recommend secret tides to every one.

Google· 2 months agoFantastic resort with amazing food and food options. Extremely clean and staff were very friendly. We have never been disappointed by a secrets resort but this one is miles above the rest. The best restaurant is definitely Tierra! Special shoutout to Starling who makes the best omelettes. We were there during the sargassum season but the resort cleaned the beach line everyday and was one of the only resorts to have a usable (and not bad smelling) beach

Google· 2 months agoI loved this trip, the resort was incredible. My only complaint was the beach, unfortunately we came during peak sargassum season so the water was brown by the shore line. Also there were people that seemed to be a part of resort coming up to us attempting to sell us something. Otherwise I really enjoyed the pools, the food, the service, and the entertainment. The environment was incredible, only addition I would make about this place would be more activities. Not many things to actually do in the resort. All in all we still loved our experience.

Google· a month agoPreferred club was a way to go..we really liked the premium drinks and would have been a bummer not to have had it. We were also front line to the beach as we got a sea view room but being right clise to the beach was not expected so it was a nice surprise. We liked the Latin American restaurant the best (the atmosphere inside was really nice).Mexican restaurant was our second favorite. Beach was nice as well as the pool. We mostly lounged by the preferred pool. Service at the pool was great! Service at the beach was also amazing.

Google· 3 months agoAbsolutely amazing adults only resort. The staff, food and resort are outstanding. Had a garden view room and it was really nice. Food was always fresh and plentiful. Buffet is always great. Entertainment team led by Teddy is always providing good activities with big smiles on their faces. I taught yoga on the beach twice every day at 9 am and 530 pm for guests. The best yoga studio is the beach and listening to the waves. Quiet pool was our favorite with the amazing servers who were around all days taking our virginity mojito orders. Would definitely return and recommend for couples or anyone looking for luxury in a quit resort. Entertainment in the evening included live music in the lobby bar and a nice show in the theatre.

Google· 3 months agoThe hotel is new and beach is good, apart from that I don’t recommend staying at this hotel. Service is bad, we tried also by giving tips but they just take the tip, lol. Most of the staff they always have an attitude. We qualified for a free upgrade, they said they’ll check and let us know the next day. They told us the hotel was at max capacity and later that day another staff member told us hotel capacity was low. They offered an upgrade but with a charge. Don’t expect to get drinks at the pool, maybe one per day because they won’t come back. We gave up and decided to grab a spot close to the bar and go everytime we needed a drink. Food is terrible, it’s undercooked all the time (omelette, burger patties, you name it) and super salty. I had food poisoning and fever for two days. Overall, we are paying so much money and the service and quality is poor. We have experienced other secrets resorts and we are very disappointed with this experience. Choose a different resort that’s worth your money.
