The best time to visit Qingdao is from May to June and September to October, when temperatures are mild and rain is less frequent. Laoshan District suits those wanting a quieter, greener stay near the mountains, where the Hyatt Regency is located. Huangdao offers a beach-focused stay across the bay, with the Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach as an option. Chengyang is farther out, better for transit connections, with the Holiday Inn Qingdao Parkview nearby.
