We arrived on a red eye from the states. There was a secure room for us to leave our luggage before our room was ready. The room was clean, modern and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was awesome and the staff that was working the buffet were top notch. Loved the coffee station in the gathering space it helped keep us going during our 36 hour day with no sleep. We did not walk to town so can't comment on walkability to downtown. Would recommend to friends and would stay again!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Múli. Although the hotel is located a little outside downtown Reykjavík, we didn’t find this to be a problem. Nearby bus stops provide convenient access to the city center in about 10 minutes, and most excursions offer pickup from the hotel for a small additional fee. We loved the complimentary breakfast and the 24-hour coffee service. What really made our stay special, though, was the kind and helpful staff, particularly Natalie. She went above and beyond by calling on our behalf to arrange a change to our Northern Lights tour reservation for a night with more favorable conditions. Thanks to her help, we had an unforgettable experience seeing the Northern Lights!

At that moment we were there in the days of the solar eclipse, and every bed in every hotel was taken, and of course the higher prices were the norm. It’s a 3 star hotel, Patricia the front desk staff and Teresa the reservation manager were very nice with everyone. The rooms are not too big, but more than enough for you to sleep very comfortable because you are there not to stay at the hotel, but going out to see the marvelous places the island has to offer. The breakfast is one of kind, mostly because they change some of the foods every morning and that give you the option to try different things every morning. The seeds bread is super delicious! The staff are very supportive. It’s like 3 minutes away from the closest bus stop, to downtown or whatever you want to go, but on Sundays the buses are limited until after around midday. If you rent a car, the parking is free. I wanted to rent a car from the airport, but the prices were over $1K plus in the city center, parking is a nightmare or very expensive. The hotel is located near the US Embassy, you can walk there if needed. Be aware that in the summer, the sunset is around 10:40 pm and sunrise is at 4 am or earlier! Highly recommend this place.

Great experience staying 4 nights at Muli Hotel. Convenient location with Flybus+ direct airport dropoff and pickup. A little far from the city center, but the bus stop is nearby. Patricia, who handled our check-in was great and really nice. She was able to accommodate us in a suitable room for our son in a wheelchair (Note that the Family Suite is not wheelchair accessible, it is on the fifth floor not reachable by elevator). Breakfast started at 7am and had a good selection of pastries, breads, salad, and some hot foods like meat, scrambled eggs, beans. There was some variety in breakfast items even ry morning. Sonia, the dining manager was kind, friendly, and made sure the breakfast area was clean and ready for the crowd of people in the morning. Free 24/7 coffee, teas, hot chocolate. Free 24/7 laundry machine and dryer (one regular washer and dryer only so plan ahead). We had an early pickup to go to the airport and the hotel provided breakfast boxes the night before.

I am so glad that we decided to stay at this hotel. I just love everything about it. This hotel advertises a “continental breakfast,” but it is really a full buffet. The veggie, fruit, bread bar and pastry options are all delicious and healthy. We also loved the 24 hour complimentary coffee machine in the lobby. | Staff were outstanding. Honorable mention to Sonia in the kitchen and the sweetest polish young lady that both work extremely hard to deliver an amazing customer experience in the morning. | For icing on the cake, there is even complementary self serve laundry (including detergent) for guests. I actually washed all of my clothes on my last vacation day…. One less thing for me to do when I return to the states. So much to love about this hotel!

Great hotel and value. Great selection of food for the morning breakfast. Breakfast staff always working hard to keep food replenished, and tables cleaned for those coming in. Rooms were clean and bright..bathroom also clean. Staff at front desk helpful for restaraunt recommendations. Hotel in a good location, being able to walk to central locations including shops, restaraunts and city sites! We visited Iceland for a special event and staff had our hotel room decorated to celebrate and commerate the occasion.

A little out of town but plenty of local places to eat. Nice simple, very clean rooms and lovely staff - especially one lady at breakfast whose name we didn’t get. If we come back we would certainly stay here again. Great breakfast spread included
