Our stay at The Reykjavik EDITION was outstanding from start to finish. We arrived on a red-eye flight and had an evening cruise embarkation, and the hotel graciously accommodated both an early check-in and a late check-out. As Luminous and Marriott Platinum members, we were also upgraded to a spacious king loft room that was both luxurious and comfortable. The service truly stood out. We were welcomed with a beautiful fruit basket and a complimentary cocktail at the hotel’s hidden speakeasy. The concierge team was incredibly helpful, arranging taxis and reservations throughout our stay and making everything seamless. The room featured plush robes and a large, spa-like shower room. While the bathroom was stunning in design, the open layout did leave water splashed around the tub area after showering. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise exceptional stay. What impressed us most was the staff’s dedication to guest service. After boarding our cruise, we realized we had accidentally left medication in the room’s mini fridge. One phone call was all it took. The hotel located the medication and arranged for it to be delivered directly to our ship before departure. Their understanding, responsiveness, and willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful situation into a non-issue. The Reykjavik EDITION combines luxury, comfort, and genuinely outstanding hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us, making this the perfect start to our Iceland adventure. Highly recommended.

We arrived here tired and weary after a red eye flight. Check in was so smooth and so welcoming. It was great to have the numerous services and benefits explained. Valet parking was a breeze and when we left it took no time to get the car. Stayed her for one night and had a great corner suite with views of the harbor. The room was immaculate and looked brand new. The pillows were amazing and the bed was comfortable. We didn't hear a sound the whole time we were there.|The location is amazing. We were able to walk everything. |I so wish we could have visited the spa. If you are arriving super early, it would be a great stop to drop off your bags and refresh before starting the day. We enjoyed drinks in the Tide restaurant. |It was great to start our trip around the Iceland with a trusted Marriott stay!

The Reykjavik EDITION is a gorgeous hotel that overlooks the North Atlantic Ocean. Absolutely in love with the decor and interior design! The food and drinks in the hotel are top notch. Highly recommend checking out the Rooftop Bar on the top floor - the mixed drinks are delicious! There's a great breakfast spread on the main level as well.

The Reykjavik Edition hotel has a GREAT location, right on the harbor. We had a corner suite, which while expensive had great expansive views of the harbor comings and goings of cruise ships and tugboats as well as the Harpa located next door. The hotel was clean and modern. The hotel staff is among the best trained and most customer-friendly hotel staff I have ever experienced...beyond Ritz-Carlton, beyond Four Seasons, beyond Madarin Oriental. Each and every staff member was welcoming, gracious and helpful. The room was VERY quiet even though it was looking out on the harbor. Dark curtains blocked the midnight sun, very important for summer. Easy walking distant to great retaurants in downtown Reykjavik. The restaurant in the hotel was very good although expensive like all the restaurants in Iceland. Breakfast was a big buffet spread that covered all bases. The rooftop bar (Carolina and the rest of the team) we first rate as well, with great drinks, food and views.

The location is great and convenient especially for us who booked the day tours and it’s 4-5min walk to bus stop 4.Especially the receptionist Rica is really kind and helpful and she generously offered us an upgraded.And we do appreciate the CNY greetings both from the reception but also for the card with orange. Also as my hubby’s birthday is during the stay, I asked months before if birthday decorations is available and eventually got a birthday cake and a card but with wrong name lol The facility (needs to turn off the lights one by one instead of all-in-one) and hygine situation is not that good in terms of the 5-star hotel. (Hair in the sheet cover and the toilet)(no clean up for the desserts) The tides restaurant and cafe is good and worth trying with ISK 7000 credit for the restaurant. No chance to try the spa.

A lovely hotel finished to a wonderful standard. The rooms are cosy, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The food is superb, with excellent options for those with dietary requirements—I’m gluten-free and was really impressed with how well they catered for allergies. The lobby has a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to relax. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. Room had a perfect view of the harbor. Located next to Harpa and an easy walk to everything in downtown Reykjavik. Valet parking was great as we did have a rental car. Blackout curtains were very appreciated. Hotel was clean and so quiet. Very friendly staff.

I had an incredible three nights at the Edition Reykjavík for my birthday!! The hotel is lovely, staff are super friendly and accommodating! The spa is lovely, was very peaceful. A great convenient location in the heart of town. The Tides restaurant is incredible, amazing food, and the staff and service is exceptional, I was served by Casper a couple of nights in a row and he is probably one of the best waiters I’ve encountered. He genuinely made my dinners at Tides an exceptional experience. The food flavours are so unique and super tasty! Very comfortable restaurant, you can dress up or down. Loved this hotel and my overall experience here! I also booked two tours through the hotel and they were super well coordinated, one with hotel pickup (northern lights) and the snowmobiling and ice caves with a pick up from bus stop 4 (literally around the corner)
