Regarding the parking, the price of €15 per day is clearly indicated on Booking and is information that guests can consult before completing their reservation. In addition, this information is also provided through the messages sent prior to arrival and again at check-in at reception. It is an optional service that each guest can choose to use according to their needs. Regarding the history of the hotel, the name Hemingway is a tribute to the writer due to his close connection with Ronda and the importance Spain had throughout his life and work. We also share with our guests the history of the building and its cultural value, as it was once the home of a Spanish poet and, over the years, a place linked to the world of culture and frequented by numerous artists and writers. Regarding the reception and concierge service, our operation follows the usual organisation of the establishment, and our team is available to assist and help our guests during the established service hours. Unfortunately, our staff were unable to offer you the tables you would have preferred, as they had been reserved for guests arriving at that same time. However, as you mentioned that you were only going to have a drink and were not planning to dine, our team offered you a lower table as an alternative, for your greater comfort. First, the hotel cannot be held responsible for where guests choose to drive their vehicles or for any administrative penalties issued by local authorities. Traffic regulations and restrictions within Ronda’s historic center are established and enforced solely by official bodies, such as the local police and municipal authorities. We understand that the situation was inconvenient; however, we believe that this type of complaint should be directed toward the entities responsible for these regulations and their enforcement, as it does not fairly reflect the experience you had at our hotel. Furthermore, we would like to emphasize that from the very beginning, our team was actively involved in assisting you. We contacted the relevant authorities, provided supporting documentation and evidence, and followed up on your case even after your departure. This effort ultimately led to the cancellation of the fine due to an error beyond our control. We also guided you on how to proceed with a claim through your car rental company or travel insurance. For these reasons, we consider this review to be unfair, given the effort and attention our team dedicated both during and after your stay.
