This was our second stay at Parador de Ronda, and once again it was a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is impressive, but the location is what really makes it special – right on the edge of the gorge and next to Ronda’s famous bridge. We had a wonderful room overlooking the valley, and the views were simply spectacular. The hotel also has a lovely, peaceful pool area, which was perfect for cooling down during the August heat. Despite the tranquil setting, you are right in the heart of Ronda, with restaurants, shops and sights just outside the door. Breakfast is excellent, with a huge selection and everything you could wish for. A beautiful hotel in an unbeatable location – we would happily stay here again.

I absolutely cannot fault this place. Genuine, warm and attentive service from all the staff here, beautiful rooms with possibly the best view you can get in Ronda (ask for the Superior rooms with a balcony). Some reviews seem on here which mention a poor breakfast, inflexible staff and dated rooms: NOT AT ALL our experience. Our room was beautiful, clean and incredibly spacious. What we loved the most was the calm and peace of the place. It’s middle of June, the weather is perfect and yet I am able to enjoy a very quiet siesta by the pool.

Upgrade to the breakfast included—trust us. |The hotel was beautiful, the terrace in our third floor room offered sweeping views of the bridge and valley, and the location was perfection for walks and hikes positioned just outside of the old city. Our only critique would be they charged to lend a wine key; just seemed silly for an area developing their wine footprint. Clean and a good value, there is some late night “city” noise (likely weekend related).

We booked this for the location and history and everything else was a bonus. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were two of the best meals we had in Spain. The rooms were huge and very clean. The front desk was very helpful in assisting us in booking a complicated taxi ride.

The most STUNNING hotel ever. Gorgeous views from lovely rooms. Good great too. Two service-related items to improve on (hence only 4 stars for service) are: 1. Remove those sittings for breakfast (Forcing people to choose between 8, 9 or 10am). It's highly inefficient judging from the queues I saw at the doors, and how rushed the staff were trying to clear everything before the next sitting. 2. I was given a 10am sitting on my first and only full day in Rhonda. The staff member knew my booking, she should have made sure I was allocated an earlier sitting so I could get out and see the place nice and early. Instead it was my only morning just gone. Small items, easily fixed. Truly the best hotel and view.

Outstanding hotel in a stunning location. Situated in the heart of the town, close to the bridge, it has the most amazing views. Staff were wonderful too and the room and facilities were excellent. Cannot wait to visit again!

Very nice hotel. Usual high Parador standards. Friendly helpful staff. Right next to the famous bridge and gorge, bullring and shopping streets. Large comfortable rooms. Top tip if you have a wide and long car be a top driver as the spiral descent to the good underground car park is very narrow.
