We stayed here in May. We had mixed weather and needed both the heating and air conditioning neither of which worked. We complained a number of times. Nothing was done. No one cared. This was also ignored on checkout. We complained via Booking.com but the hotel refused to respond to them. Avoid this is a cheap version of what it once was now no one cares about the guest comfort. Given our room was uncomfortable it was an expensive stay. |Avoid the wine tasting, we struggled to find any wine in the glass the tasting amount was so small!

Wonderful place to relax and celebrate What a beautiful place! Zorita has such a wonderful vineyard and a lovely, peaceful ambiance. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The little pools are absolutely charming, and having the river flowing alongside the property makes the setting even more special. Everything feels tranquil and beautifully connected to nature. It’s also a fantastic venue for weddings and other celebrations. I can imagine how memorable an event here could be, surrounded by the vineyards, river, and beautiful landscape. A truly lovely place to visit and unwind. Highly recommended!

If you want a quiet place to get away and pamper youself...Hacienda Zorita is the best! 1366 style with modern amenities. Our wine tasting was fun while informative and the gardens were amazing!

The hotel has recently been sold and the standards have dropped. The staff don’t seem to care anymore. Neither the air conditioning nor the heating worked in our room and this made our stay uncomfortable. We were ignored by the hotel when we complained. Pools had also been emptied. Food is ok but the bar food is better that the restaurant. Wine tasting is really poor compared to what it used to be. Ovoid this hotel it isn’t now worth the effort.

The hotel is located in a picturesque historic estate — the setting is genuinely beautiful and atmospheric. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, but in reality it’s closer to a 3-star at best. The room felt cheaply furnished and poorly thought out — not in a minimalist or stylish way, but simply uncomfortable. Everything felt low quality, there was not even a kettle, and there was only one armchair and one chair, which makes little sense for three guests. There was a persistent damp, basement-like smell in the room. In the shower, chrome surfaces had visible deposits (likely calcium), giving an overall impression of poor maintenance. Ventilation is also an issue: the windows don’t tilt open, and fully opening them on the ground floor feels unsafe. The door was difficult to open. The biggest issue, however, was the mattress. It was so hard that getting proper sleep was nearly impossible. This becomes more than just a comfort problem — it’s a safety concern. Guests typically arrive by car, and after several nights of poor sleep, driving becomes genuinely risky. We ended up staying only one night out of the three we had booked. The extra bed was crooked and unstable, and the pillows were extremely thin. Another detail worth mentioning is the very bright light above the exit, which stays on all night and makes the room feel more like a hallway with emergency lighting than a place to rest. The “wine” concept in the hotel’s name also turned out to be purely decorative: no bottle of wine, no glasses, not even a corkscrew in the room. Access to the bar and restaurant is only possible with a prior reservation, which adds inconvenience. There is also very little to do on the property, and nothing around it. Finally, the room description is misleading: what is advertised as a “one bedroom villa” is in fact just a single room with no separate bedroom. Nice building and staff, but overall an uncomfortable stay that does not match 5-star expectations.

Where do I start on how magnificent this property is? |From arrival we were wowed by the beauty of this property. We had a deluxe suite with a terrace and couldn’t have been happier, even though the weather was cool. The terrace was very spacious and overlooked the water. The room had a bathtub and very spacious bathroom. The whole suite was beautiful. The hotel itself is stunning inside. |All staff were very kind and professional. |It is a farm to table operation where they have fresh herbs, growing in gardens outside. It was absolutely breathtaking. The dinner we had was magnificent with wine to go along with it. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel with all fresh ingredients. I can’t say enough about the fabulous pistachio cake for breakfast. If we are ever back in the area, we will be visiting again. This place is highly highly recommended.

Such a gorgeous property - the buildings, rooms, grounds and winery. Everything was perfect with our stay and the staff could not have been kinder and more accommodating (we travelled with our small dog and everyone went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and him feel loved, even when there was an incident where he rolled in a substance in the grounds and traipsed it onto fresh sheets… cleaned immediately and zero issues). The massages were excellent and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended. Gorgeous place, highly recommend.
