The hotel was extremely clean and organized. They had tons of snacks set out and coffee and tea. The shared areas were well designed and set out both inside and outside. The location is central in Little Italy a great location for a San Diego stay. The rooms are individually temperature controlled so you can keep it as you like. I felt very secure and safe even with a shared bathroom. The staff was helpful in the morning and you can tell they really care about this hotel. Great stay.

I was sketchy at first but as soon we got in, the staff was so kind and very helpful. By any hotel i have been with especially with Hilton, they have the best complimentary snacks and drinks available. Very quiet. Close to Little italy and bars 4-5 min walk. Beach side 10 min walk. They have a little Rec room that have a pool table, card games & unlimited coffee, snacks and kitchen that also have drinks available. However, it is best for single people and couples. They do have limited parking and they have certain rooms, based on your booking, that you do share bathrooms. But me and my wife love it and we will definitely be booking again if we come back to SD.

Pros: The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's in a great location for nightlife and good restaurants. Little Italy is fun and lovely. Cons: check in is it 4:00 p.m. That's a little late but not really that bad.. however, check out is at 10:00 a.m. and they will come and knock on your door at 9:30 in the morning on New Year's Day. That's unreasonably early in my book.

If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in a walkable part of downtown San Diego, this is a great option! It’s in Little Italy, so you can easily grab a great espresso and satisfy your Italian food cravings. There is some airplane noise since Little Italy is close to the airport, but the hotel provides a white noise machine, which is a nice touch. Parking isn’t included. I was able to find street parking in a nearby residential area and walk back to avoid paying for parking. The hotel also has a 15-minute loading zone, so you can unload your bags before finding a spot. Overall, I’d say this is a good, affordable option if you want to explore San Diego on foot!

It was my first time staying at this hotel for a night and i highly recommend it. The front desk staff are friendly and Brooklyn, my personal concierge through text was super helpful and kind. Contactless check in was smooth and easy. I like how you need a code in order to enter the hotel, which gives me a safe sense of security for someone who’s staying here alone. I originally booked a Queen room with a shared bath but got a complimentary upgrade to the King Suite instead! It was amazing. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was huge and comfortable. The only down side is that it can be a bit loud in the morning/night since it’s beside a highway area but they provide earplugs in the room if you need it, which is very thoughtful.

1st off I will say that we did not realize we booked a room with a shared bathroom until a week before our stay. That was a red flag. However after our 2 night stay it was not a real issue at all. The bathrooms were clean and we never had to wait. The rooms are updated and clean. It’s just a simple room but for the price of $122 a night in Little Italy I see this as an amazing bargain. The staff was nice and the customer service through text messaging and calls were easy to work with. The hotel was located close to so many food spots and the street market that’s held on Saturdays. Overall we are very happy with our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

We got the king with our private restroom. The noise is not too bad if you are a mild to heavy sleeper. The location is the best part. So nice, with walking distance to little Italy and the water front. The parking was the biggest worry, but we were able to find free parking. For check in, didn’t get an email at first but everything else was smooth. The complementary snacks and common room were a nice bonus. The room was perfect with more amenities than we expected. From soap, to white noise, to coffee, to the fridge. Made us feel like home and our 2 day stay perfect. The room cleaners were very helpful and respectful which is a great bonus. Overall no complaints and I would highly recommend to stay here.

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary. My husband and I love unique hotels, so this was perfect for us. We got the room with the kitchenette. Perfect for a breakfast spot and for having leftovers from the fantastic restaurants in walking distance! They had a nice variety of breakfast foods, snacks and drinks available over the 5 days we were there. Front desk and cleaning staff were welcoming and had great suggestions for places to go. This is a boutique hotel and can be a bit quirky, which is why we loved it. But you can hear other travelers at times, and airplanes fly overhead regularly. We didn't mind it. The AC worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, and we walked everywhere in Little Italy and had a wonderful time.
