This is an older property very close to the center of Little Italy. Great restaurants, and cafés with very close walking distance. The front desk employees were excellent. Friendly from check-in to check out, and very helpful and attentive. Again, an older property, but clean and conveniently located.

We were greeted very kindly by Macie (Masey?) at the front desk. Our first night started a bit rocky, but GM Vince, Manny, Ray and David were incredibly kind and accommodating, and fixed any issues as quickly as they possibly could and with a smile on their faces. The rooms have a microwave and mini fridge, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. They have a coffee pod in the room, but we never used it because we’d just go downstairs and have their coffee. They have yogurt, fruits, cheese sticks and juices as well. The hotel location was excellent in Little Italy with so much within walking distance. Uber was easy and quick for places a bit further out. They have a couple of tables and chairs right out front as well. Again the staff here are wonderful! Thx so much for an excellent stay!

Excellent location, came for two nights to eat all the great food in the area. Excellent front desk service, they checked us in 90 minutes early since we mismanaged flight arrival times. Rooms are bare bones but have all you really need, microwave, fridge, instant hot water, AC and everything works. No views, patio options but we aren’t one’s to sit in the room this trip. Pro tip, if you’re a hot sleeper, switch the “eco saver” option off on the AC and enjoy cool sleep. Fresh pastry, yogurt, fruit, tea and coffee at breakfast. Would happily book again for our next Little Italy adventure. Shout out to Vince who was super helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are small, but were plenty to accommodate myself, my husband and our 4 month old infant. They graciously provided us with a pack and play which was in very good condition compared to the one we just used at the Hilton. The best part of this hotel was the customer service and front desk. Every person we interacted with was SO helpful and lovely. We would definitely come back based on that alone.

Clean rooms right in the heart of Little Italy. Simple breakfast provided every day with croissants, fruit and coffee/tea. Farmer’s market every Wednesday and Saturday 100 feet away. That plaza transforms every evening into a place where people and families gather, often with someone playing music. Unrestricted breeze coming up from bay keeps it cool even in August. Don’t miss hanging out there as the sun is setting. Getting my bearings took a Lyft to Balboa Park (with San Diego Zoo), walked around then walked back (1.5 miles) to hotel through Banker’s Hill. Trolley stop a brief walk away takes you to Old Town, or all the way to Tijuana. Took Coronado Ferry then free bus to the beach. Downtown, Embarcadero, Gaslamp Quarter, Amtrak all short walks away. Airport a 10 minute drive, or quick bus ride away. If you appreciate urban fabric, walkability and a living city right outside and don’t need huge rooms or upscale hotel amenities I highly recommend this hotel. Staff is great and very responsive.

We love this place. Our second time staying there,we enjoyed our first visit so much. We had tickets to Petco Park for the Dodgers- Padres game (we're Dodgers fans) so we just caught an Uber to the ballpark. The staff was awesome and very helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Very nice rooms, we were out enjoying ourselves most of the time so we just fell asleep in the comfortable bed . We love that Urban Boutique Hotel is walking distance to awesome Italian restaurants and coffee shops and there's a great plaza area with tables and a lovely fountain. We enjoyed the lite breakfast selection they had available, it was very convenient. We used their parking option so we didn't have to hunt around for a place to park. We didn't even use our car during our stay as you have everything you need within walking distance. We like that this place is not one of those giant hotels, it's very quaint and manageable. We look forward to our next visit!!

This is a very basic room. Just one utilitarian chair or any other furniture. Nothing that would work as a desk. There's no mechanism or suggestion from the from desk for overnight parking. The breakfast was adequate. It is right next to the plaza in Little Italy.

This hotel is excellent if you want to visit San Diego. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is complimentary and you can have it while you sit outside, there are tables and chakra and you can relax there. The hotel is in Little Italy where you can find lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets. It is a quite location, no noise during the night. Really close to the hotel there is the trolley tour stop. In your room you can find a fridge and microwave.
