We had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Haitang Bay and were very impressed with the hotel. The property is large, beautifully landscaped, and very well designed. Even when there were many guests around, it never felt crowded — there were no long lines or chaos, and everything was managed very efficiently by the staff. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially liked the bathtub on the balcony, which made the room feel even more special. We also really enjoyed the restaurants, especially Aqua and Tian Fu. Both offered a pleasant atmosphere and added a lot to the overall experience. A very special thank you goes to Manas, the Russian-speaking hotel guide. He truly did an outstanding job. From the moment we checked in, he was incredibly helpful — assisting us with restaurant reservations and explaining all the hotel’s facilities and opportunities in detail. His Russian is excellent, clear, and professional, which made communication especially easy and pleasant. We are very grateful for his help and support. Overall, this is a beautifully organized hotel with excellent service, spacious rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere. We would gladly stay here again.

We stayed two nights with a 5yr old kid and my mum. Breakfast is yummy with lots of fresh food/juice. Pools are fun. The room is pretty and comfortable. Great service in general. My son is happy with the kid’s playhouse too (despite we didnt join any kids activities / group class arranged by the hotel).

I had an amazing experience at InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The beachfront location is stunning, with soft sand and beautiful sea views. Special thanks to Lee, who provided thoughtful and attentive service during our stay. The staff are polite and responsive, rooms are clean and spacious. The pool and dining options are great. It is a perfect resort for relaxing holiday with family.

Who says Sanya is just for couples and families? As a solo businesswoman, I successfully reclaimed this paradise for the working class. The hotel is absolutely massive and gorgeous—perfect for getting my steps in between meetings.The staff treated me like a queen, and honestly, eating a buffet dinner alone means no one can judge how many dessert plates I bring back to my table. The bed was so comfortable I almost slept through my morning alarm for a global briefing. Worth every penny!

Our three-people friends stayed at this hotel for four nights. Most things were perfect such mini bar, free drinks, room service, breakfast. We also swam together in its pools and they were very clean. There were some security staffs to offer help. I would recommend people to stay in this hotel again. By the way it is very close to Haitang Bay Duty-free mega shopping malls.

We spent four days here and had a most luxurious stay. We stayed in a room with a private outside lounge area, which was extremely relaxing and peaceful. Unfortunately interrupted by some loud, smoking neighbours,who didn't stay long. We joined Club Intercontinental which was well catered for by chef Eason with a good variation and selection over the four days. The Club was extremely well staffed with efficient and friendly staff including Dana amongst many others. The room was cleaned twice a day and they had the biggest and most plush bath towels I have ever had.I loved my time by the pool also with fabulous lifeguards and staff. Thanks for a wonderful stay, David.

The review is actually for the Aqua restaurant located in the B2 level of the hotel. It’s a massive underwater restaurant featuring wall high glass windows so you can watch the fish and turtles swim around while you dine. The service is very friendly in the restaurant and afternoon tea is very quiet so you can choose any table you like. They do also have a dinner buffet which is around 398 yuan per person. The restaurant is open to the public so you don’t have to be a hotel customer.

staff are nice and friendly, very eager to help, especially our butler. a good variety of food at the breakfast, sufficient choices for afternoon tea and dinner at the Lounge. very nice view from the hotel rooms, lots of activities and facilities for the toddlers and young kids. overall a very kids and family friendly resort for vacation.
