Pullman Sanya is doing false advertisement!! The hotel looks nothing like the picture you would see online. The hotel is undergoing large scale construction and will not finish in the foreseeable future. The main lobby and front entrance are all closed, which means no access to the beach. When I told their manager, he told me to take the long way and walk around. The elevator is broke. There are debris everywhere, even in the pond. When I raised these issues to Trip because the 5-star hotel is falsely advertising its current state, Trip.com told me there would be no compensation. This is absolutely outrageous. Pullman Yalong Bay offers unbeatable value among all resorts in Yalong Bay. Our room was clean with a big bathtub, free of bugs and dampness. Lobby staff greeted us right after we parked the car. The ground-floor pool is clean and fun, and the hotel has abundant green plants. It’s pure bliss to enjoy the night view on the balcony. Huge thanks to housekeeping ladies Ms. Li 李云云 & Ms. Wang 汪春仙 for their super thoughtful service. Strongly recommended!

Beautiful hotel with traditional architecture and a charming atmosphere. Everything is very well maintained and in excellent condition. The breakfast was good, the gym was well equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My elite status was recognized, and I received complimentary fruit, afternoon tea, and an upgrade to a villa with a private swimming pool, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back again.

Positives: 1. Pool access rooms are very convenient. 2. Private pool villas are excellent. 3. Room service via QR code and pay also convenient. 4. Pool activities like the rainbow hill and floating accessories. 5. Staff friendly. 6. Close to the beach. Negatives: 1. Furniture in pool access room very dark and outdated. 2. Lighting in room was so dark, very hard to get ready even in peak daylight hours. 3. No staff spoke English despite it being advertised as one of the main spoken languages alongside Chinese. We had to use a translate APP with everyone and the first language all staff used to translate from Chinese was Russian as a default not English. 4. Western options at breakfast not very good. No crispy bacon, very fatty. 5. Pool bar was closed. 5. Pool sky jacuzzi not turned on. 6. Main restaurant furniture also mismatched at times. 9. No welcome drink. 10. No one helped take our bags to our room or showed us the way. 11. We had to request the room be cleaned every day, sometimes the cleaner still wouldn’t come and we had to call to ask again a few hours later. 12. Cleaning was not very good. Food plate from room service still left in the room after cleaners had already been and gone. Hair conditioner not restocked despite having run out. Bedsheets only tidied, not replaced even when there had been a visible spill on them. Twice they forgot to give us fresh towels after taking the old ones leaving us with nothing. 13. No note in the room about how things work like booking the paddle board or anything. 14. Limited food. Only two restaurants despite Trip.com saying there is five. The Chinese restaurant was very outdated and old looking. The main bar does sell food also actually but very limited options. 15. The bar had zero vibe and looked weirdly unfinished. It was nice but it needs something hanging from the very tall ceiling or something. Overall, it was very disappointing. It’s not the worst hotel but given it’s a Pullman I expected much higher quality in all areas. I was particularly disappointed with the restaurants, lack of pool bar and darkness of the room.

I couldn't imagine how friendly the staff was, how cosy and nice the villas were with the pool, perfect service and quiet place. I could finally relax and enjoy the weather. It's near the best attractions but the breakfast is the most wonderful one. I will come back, same room same place

We stayed here with our newborn baby. The hotel was nice and the grounds were well kept - it had lovely gardens which we enjoyed walking round with our baby. We booked the pool access room which was quite dark and smelt of damp. Although this room has pool access and a lounging area it was taken by other guest leaving their towels to reserve the beds at 7am! Other guests were also smoking in this area so it was impossible to use our own balcony. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, Jane, Anne and Emily from the hotel lobby were great when we told them about our issue with smoking around our baby. We changed to a villa which was great and definitely worth booking over the other rooms. It was bright and clean with a great big bath and lovely private pool. We ate elsewhere most of the time as during breakfast I found glass from a chipped plate in my food which I unknowingly chewed and cut my mouth. The staff offered us a free buffet dinner which we declined as we were totally put off eating there and hadn’t enjoyed the dinner when we ate there - wouldn’t recommend the food at all.

The location was ideal as it was within walking distance to the beach. We had our own personal contact called Cindy who was attentive. We were upgraded upon arrival to the Myanmar Villa. The staff were all friendly and polite. Everyday our room and pool was cleaned and the staff created cute towel animals. The private pool was lovely and good temp. There was a power outage while we were there however it was quickly resolved once we notified staff. The amenities were good and room service was cheap. Public was average but not a detriment to the stay. We added breakfast to our package for the days were staying. The buffet was good, a mix of western and chinese, some days were better than others but overall quite nice. Overall i would recommend staying here.

This is the third time for us to spend a week at Pullman and we are always happy to be back. The resort is always well kept, with a fantastic park surrounding the villas. What we like most is the silence and the quietness. It’s one of the few places in Yalong Bay where you can actually enjoy nature without being forced to join noisy “entertainment” events. The staff has always been very helpful, especially Felix and Anne who speak very good English and have been very supportive. We’d like to especially thank also the two housewives Qin Guiyun and Sun Youhui, two smiling ladies who kept our villa super clean and every day left a nice handmade puppet on our bed. Many thanks to you all!
