The location of this hotel is really good, within 5 minute walk from Sapporo station so very central and easy if you arrive in Sapporo by train. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Even though we had to check-in using a self check-in machine, the staff at reception was really helpful and guided us through the process (without speaking much English we made it all work). They were also super helpful on the day of check-out and stored our luggage for us for a few hours. On the 2nd floor there were public baths, several vending machines, a filtered water tab and a microwave.|It isn't the most modern hotel so it could do with a bit of a style upgrade, but all in all everything was still very clean and comfortable so not an issue really. Just also be aware the hotel is on the north, slightly quieter side of the station so all of the sightseeing is not directly on your doorstep.

All together we stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Staff is courteous and very helpful. There are a variety of amenities which includes face wash, lotion and cream. Only item missing is shower cap, hair tie is provided though. There is a small pantry where guests can heat up packed foods and free lollypop ice-cream.We can hear light noise of train passing at night.Location of hotel is convenient for transport.

Hotel Keihan is 2 traffic crossings from Sapporo station. There are 2 ways to get to the hotel from the station - using either the west or the north exit. The west exit will require you to drag your luggage through a stretch of road that has very uneven surface - quite challenging if your luggage is large and heavy. The north exit is a slightly shorter distance, but with tiled sidewalks, so much easier to drag your luggage. The room is slightly larger than the typical Japanese hotel room. Coffee, tea, sugar, toiletries and pajamas are all provided. Right next to the hotel is a famous soup curry restaurant. The hotel is also within walking distance to cafes and eateries.

Clean room, walking distance from Sapporo Station, and the best part of it is, we can do late night onsen to relax after a full day of explore sapporo, while doing laundry at the same time ( they have laundry machine on the public bath area). Definitely a great choice to stay at.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Keihan. Clean and spacious rooms, attentive staff and nice onsen. The only minor inconvenience was that the TV didn't have free Movies.

Everything was perfect - the location of the hotel is very convenient (right next to the train station), the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was tasty with the variety of choices, the room was clean and with enough space. I enjoyed my stay at Sapporo in the Keihan Hotel, thank you :)

I am a visitor from Australia, travelling internationally for the first time. I was worried checking in as my Japanese is not very good, but it went well and instructions are provided in English, Chinese and Japanese on pamphlets and the staff can speak English as well. The room is very clean and many facilities are provided, including a fridge, kettle, wifi, TV, air purifier, soaps and there is also a bath! It was really nice and the staff are also very friendly. Thank you very much! I really enjoyed staying here in Sapporo thanks to this hotel and the staff here

Review:Stayed here for 2 nights and overall it was a decent, practical choice for a short trip.Pros:• Really convenient — just a short walk from the JR and metro station, made getting around very easy.• Room was tidy and quite clean.• Good water pressure in the shower, nice shower head, and the hair dryer actually worked well.• Nice bonus: there’s a small public bath (onsen-style) available — a pleasant surprise at this price range.Cons:• The room is very compact. It was difficult to even open one suitcase fully — fine if you’re solo with light luggage, but tight for two people or anyone with more bags.• The hotel is quite close to the rail tracks, so you’ll hear trains passing by on and off, especially noticeable at night. I personally don’t mind background noise, but if you need complete silence to sleep, this might bother you.• The public bath is quite small, so it can get fully occupied quickly, especially in the evening.Would stay again if I’m prioritizing location and don’t mind a small room + occasional train noise. Good value for money if you’re mainly using the hotel as a base to explore.
