We're glad we got the Residential Room which was more spacious than the standard room we got from a previous trip in another city. There's enough floor space to open a big suitcase. But there's no shelving or drawers to put anything in. There's a little shelf in the bathroom which helped a great deal, but there's no hook to hang clothes or anything. It's very convenient to have a washer dryer combo but be aware that even after 3.5 hours for a cycle, it takes a long time (maybe an hour or more) for the machine to cool down for the door to unlock. There's nothing you can do about it so it's better you do your last load the day before departure. The location is superb. It's a block away from the shopping arcade street and in the center of all good eats and shopping. The airport express bus is only two blocks away which is very convenient. The staff were courteous and helpful. It's a nice touch to have free ice cream every evening.

Staffs are friendly n helpful. We felt at home. Particularly having a washing / dryer machine in the room plus shoes dryer enables my family to enjoy our stay here a homely stay. Staffs assisted my family in making some dining reservation where language is a challenge. Location - Near to amenities n shopping district. I also enjoy sitting at the lounge having my coffee n listening to the music coming from the turn table. Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one.

Plus: Excellent service - we deposited our luggage before check in and they moved out luggage to our rooms when rooms were ready. Such thoughtful service! Delicious drinks (coffee, hot chocolate) and free soft cream (from 3pm). Wonderful washer and dryer in room - went home with minimal dirty laundry. Refa shampoo and treatment were luxurious. We want to buy them for own use. Minus:Terrible WiFi except in the lobby.Water station can be at every floor instead of just Level 2.No gym. Not a must have, good to have if rainy days and want to do something other than shopping.

I’ve stayed in many different hotels in Japan but this was my first time staying in one that included so many appliances in the room! There was a washer/dryer with detergent (we gave it a try - the instructions were very clear but the detergent required the aid of google translate. The amount of pumps of detergent required depends on the weight of the laundry load indicated on the machine. It took 5 hours for the machine to complete a cycle but we were out for most of the day anyway so it worked out perfectly) There was also a microwave, kettle, portable electric stove, a fairly large mini fridge with separate freezer compartment, and shoe dryer! The room was also very spacious and located near Exit 11 of Odori Station and within walking distance of many department stores. There’s also complimentary soft serve for guests, which is a welcome bonus during the hot summer months. The lobby is also quite nice, with a selection of records you can listen to, complimentary coffee, a kids area with games, and several books. Finally, Staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us make reservations to nearby restaurants and for reserving a taxi for us.

Pros: Great location. Helpful staff. Have all the basic kitchen and cleaning appliances you need Cons: The hotel only offered 3 cleaning choices: (I) Limited room cleaning (which involves changing the towels and tissues), (II) do not disturb and (III) change the towels by placing the ones at the door only. Should clean the room more often and more extensively, especially when the visitors stay for more than 3 nights.

Fantastic little hotel for a great price in a perfect location. I had just finished a 4-day hike. My room had a washer/dryer to wash all my wet clothing and even a shoe dryer to dry my boots haha. Good free coffee in the lobby. Friendly English speaking staff. Very funky car parking for 2000¥ (you’ll see…) My only minor niggles (for management) are a) the water pipes are very loud! If someone in a nearby room is having a shower it’s crazily loud in the room! b) Good luck finding some of the light switches to turn the lights off! I actually had to call the front desk to ask. A sign would be useful. I would note that the manager’s reply to this review seems to be 100% AI generated, which is a bit disappointing. I would rather no reply then an AI reply. It seems a bit trite.

The location is perfect and the in-room washer/dryer is so convenient. What made our stay here exceptional and unforgettable is their free event for the Yosakoi Soran Festival. I had tried to purchase tickets to the Saturday Night Parade but it was impossible to do so outside of Japan as it required a Japanese address or pick-up of tickets within 24 hours of purchasing. So I called the hotel and Nishi-san informed me of their free event. The hotel sponsored our costume (complete kimono set for the women; robe and headband for the men), hair and makeup as well as tickets to the performances on the main stage! We got to watch from the best seats. I feel so lucky as they are the only hotel doing this for their guests and it just so happened that my husband booked with them. Afterwards, we got to chat with the staff who were also in costume and watched the show with us. The whole night was a great way to experience Japanese culture with Japanese people. I don't know if they will do this every year but being in Sapporo during the Yosakoi Soran Festival in June is one of the best ways to participate in a Japanese festival because you don't have to deal with the heat and humidity of August (when most other festivals are held). To the management of the hotel, THANK YOU SO MUCH for providing this experience for free. To all the staff who were there with us, you made the night memorable and fun. Thank you!

One of the best parts of my stay was the complimentary Yosakoi Soran Festival experience organized by the hotel. The staff dressed us in traditional festival attire and accompanied us to watch the performances, making the experience feel authentic, immersive, and memorable. The staff were incredibly friendly (specially Mickey and Gin), welcoming, and spoke excellent English, which made it easy to learn more about the festival and local culture. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience Hokkaido beyond the usual tourist attractions. In the future, I would love to enjoy more cultural events, local festivals, and interactive experiences that allow visitors to connect with the local community and traditions.
