The best time to visit Shanghai is in October and November, when temperatures are mild (18-24°C) and rain is less frequent. April and May are also pleasant, with warm days and moderate humidity. Full-day tours from Shanghai go to Suzhou, known for its classical gardens and canals, and Zhouzhuang, a water village with old bridges and houses. Zhujiajiao is another water town option, with its own canals and stone streets. These trips are a good way to see the region beyond the city.
