Had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Sentosa. Special thanks to Peter, Rey and the team at Kwee Zeen for the excellent breakfast service. They were warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. We also enjoyed cocktails at LeBar, where the team was equally amazing and made for a great experience. Thank you to the entire team for the outstanding hospitality. Looking forward to returning!

My partner and I had a great experience at Sofitel Sentosa and everyone we met felt the same. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived which continued throughout the stay. |The food, accommodation and service was fabulous. Kwee French buffet was great and Wanyth and Julie looked after us beautifully. A Special mention to Jessy from La Bar who is outstanding which kept us going back. Highly recommend Sofitel Sentosa.

We had a wonderful experience at Kwee Zeen and would like to sincerely commend the team for their exceptional service. Albert was incredibly warm and welcoming, taking great care of my husband and me, and even making our furkid feel comfortable and included. The service crew were also very attentive — they kindly assisted me at the buffet line when I couldn’t reach some of the dishes, which I truly appreciated. As we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, Jeffrey and Farah went the extra mile to make it special. Jeffrey thoughtfully coordinated with me on the best time to bring out the complimentary cake so it would remain a surprise. When the moment came, both he and Farah arrived with the cake and sang a birthday song — such a sweet and heartwarming gesture that made the celebration even more memorable. A special thank you as well to Julie for the thoughtful gift — it was a lovely surprise and deeply appreciated.

I am currently on staycation at Sofitel Sentosa, and sad to say, so far it is missing the mark. Let me start with the pros: Room: it has a lovely design and nice garden view, the bed is very soft and comfortable, and the air con is strong and cold. The bathroom is lovely and we enjoyed the bath tub, however one of the shower tiles came off while I was showering. Not good! My daughter appreciated the child bath amenities and the child sized hotel slippers. Staff: everyone we met so far has been very helpful and kind Cons: - the hotel advertises itself as being child friendly, and as recently as 23 July, they posted an instagram post advertising their kids club. Today the concierge informed me that there is NO kids club, well not any longer. My daughter was disappointed, and this is blatantly false advertising. Please remove the instagram post if you don’t offer such services anymore. - the pool is not exactly kid friendly, it ranges from 1.4m deep to 2.5m, so all the families with kids are clinging to a narrow strip of shallow pool along the side. It would have been nice if they provided pool toys and floats for the kids, but all I saw were life jackets. - yesterday my daughter fell and scraped her knee. I asked for a first aid kit to clean her wound and was given some sterile water to clean it instead. When I asked about disinfectant, I was told that it is not hotel policy to provide medications to guests. Can I just say what a ridiculous policy this is? Disinfectant is hardly a medication, it’s like saying hand sanitiser is a medication. So if guests trip and hurt themselves they’re just supposed to use sterile water to clean their wounds?! This is supposed to be a five star, child friendly hotel, and there’s no disinfectant in the hotel’s first aid kit for you to clean your child’s knee scrape?! I can hardly believe it. I was all set to drive out to buy disinfectant, but luckily my husband mentioned the incident to one of the front desk staff who happened to have a personal bottle of disinfectant with her (I wonder why). Again, thanks to the lovely staff for their help. The property and staff are great, and I really like the hotel itself. Sadly such incidents (no proper first aid kit, false advertising) have really marred my guest experience, and I wouldn’t really rate this hotel as child-friendly.

Honestly, the resort was okay overall, but for a 5-star property, I expected much better. We booked 7 rooms as a large family, and while the stay was decent, there were several things that disappointed us. The rooms looked nice at first glance, but once you pay attention to the details, you can tell that many things are old and not very well maintained. Some areas definitely need renovation and better upkeep. Another issue was that many parts of the resort, including most of the walkways and common areas, were not air-conditioned. Considering Singapore’s extremely hot and humid weather, this made moving around the hotel quite uncomfortable. Only a few sections seemed properly cooled. The check-in experience also wasn’t the best. The reception staff were not particularly warm or welcoming. To be honest, compared to previous visits to Singapore, the overall hospitality in general felt less friendly toward tourists this time. Breakfast was average — not bad, but not something I’d expect from a luxury 5-star resort. One suggestion would be to expand the air-conditioned seating area in the breakfast section. There is a very large outdoor dining space, but because of the heat and humidity, most guests naturally prefer sitting indoors in the AC. Making more of the area air-conditioned would improve the experience a lot. Overall, it’s not a terrible resort, but it definitely did not live up to the expectations of a 5-star stay.

I booked this as a birthday staycation for my parents, and they had an amazing experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and offered a peaceful, resort-like atmosphere. The staff were warm, attentive, and made my parents feel genuinely welcomed. As a lovely surprise, the hotel also prepared a slice of birthday cake for my dad, which made the celebration even more special and memorable. My parents left feeling refreshed and happy. Highly recommended for special occasions and relaxing getaways. 🎂🎉
