For a last minute booking the price of 34 € sounded good.Check-in method was supposed to be by PIN but on arrival there was a locked gate. I had to ring a bell and then call the owner while his wife opened the door.Maybe a way to know who is arriving and after check-out I also could not locate any PIN access. She just showed the PIN to the house key safe. The room window door did not move well or close properly and no trash bin in the room.Lights were old bulbs that made the room too bright.Bathroom was across the hallway. The guesthouse is in a remote area between factories and secretive villas in a village between Lisbon and Sintra. You need to take the Sintra train and then a local bus and a twenty minute walk there..

Didn't stay there, just toured. Maybe great for some people but definitely not what I expected from description.

(Translated by Google) The house had an unpleasant smell upon arrival and, overall, did not seem properly clean, especially the room. We found unacceptable traces of previous guests on the table, revealing a lack of basic hygiene. The sofa showed signs of mold, the walls were dilapidated, and the bed linens were stained. It's clear the space is old and lacks proper maintenance. After contacting the owners, they suggested changing rooms, but only for an additional €16. A very negative experience; I do not recommend it.

(Translated by Google) DO NOT RENT! DISHONEST LANDLORD! My husband stayed in one of the rooms for almost 3 months, paid everything correctly and didn't damage anything. When he left, Nuno Figueira should have refunded the security deposit paid when my husband moved in, but my husband left on October 30, 2024, and to this day (January 15, 2025) it still hasn't been paid, even though, according to the contract, he should have returned the amount by November 30, 2024, and still nothing. Nuno blocked my husband's phone and didn't pay. (Original) NÃO ALUGUEM! SENHORIO DESONESTO!

(Translated by Google) I was scammed by Nuno Figueira from Global Guest. Global Guest's rental advertisements should be removed from platforms due to misleading advertising. The Company Global Guest As a client of your short-term rental company, I am writing to report the following situation: - I contacted Mr. Nuno Figueira to arrange a short-term rental of accommodation for 6 people in a central area of Sintra, close to the beaches and general commerce; - The availability of this accommodation, with 3 bedrooms, living room, 1 bathroom and kitchen, was confirmed to me through photographs and a guided tour of the space, after which I made a payment of two thousand five hundred euros (2,500) in May 2024, corresponding to the 30-day period, from July 28th to August 28th, 2024; - On the eve of our arrival at the accommodation, Mr. Nuno Figueira informed me via WhatsApp that the accommodation had been closed and was therefore unavailable. He offered two alternative options that did not correspond at all to what had been agreed upon and previously paid for; - The first option: accommodation in a remote area of Sintra, without privacy, with shared access and kitchen, far from the center and without public transport; - The other option, located in Parque das Nações, with only one bedroom, clearly insufficient for 6 people as requested and paid for in advance. Faced with this last-minute disruption, which Mr. Figueira called "unforeseen," the family of 6 had to split up, renting another space, with some staying in the micro-apartment in Parque das Nações. We demand to be reimbursed for the additional costs of the extra accommodation, as the accommodation that had been initially contracted was supposed to accommodate 6 people, and was canceled at the last minute by the company; in addition to the disruptions caused by changes beyond our control. Dear Global Guest representatives, please inform me of the steps to be taken in this case, reserving the right to pursue legal action to seek compensation for the damages suffered.
