We just left Hotel Florida and miss it already. It was a really pleasant surprise of a hotel and an amazing five day stay. The staff were wonderful and hard workers, always helpful. We had a poolside room which was lovely: newly renovated and pretty spacious for my husband, my teen and I. We loved the pool after our excursions each day in a very hot July. |The whole hotel was quite clean including the pool. AC worked great and no issues with water pressure. The breakfast was included- with a pretty good selection. We also ate there a number of evenings including pizza night- and the food and bar selection were both excellent. The Bramble cocktail was something I need to make on my own: so good. Loved their desserts too and there’s gelato available most of the day and night. I have no complaints about our stay here: it was a 20 minute walk from town but we got the hotel shuttle each morning and one of the town buses drops off at the top of the lane (2 Euros). They supplied pool towels and you could rent towels for a few euros for excursions like boat tours and the beach clubs. |I would absolutely stay here again, loved it!

Stayed here in the hostel portion of the hotel and loved it! The pool is beautiful. The hotel has a restaurant with amazing food & pizza. I wish the hostel beds had curtains but the bathroom and room was nice and clean & lockers were provided. There is a nice outdoor patio in the room. The staff were lovely. It is in a great location, 15 minute walk to the center of Sorrento and even shorter walk to the water for beautiful views of the sea and Mt. vesuvius.

We stayed 5 nights here and were really impressed with the cleanliness, quietness, vibe of the hotel and attentiveness of the staff. The location is around a 15 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento, but there are lots of restaurants nearby. The pool bar and restaurant were great and had a decent variety of food and drink. We would stay again.

I am from Australia and was travelling to Italy for the first time. Sorrento was the highlight of our trip! I was worried about being in a 3 star hotel, but there was nothing 3 star about Hotel Florida. 1.5km to city central - a beautiful walk. Matteo, Peppe and Teng were fantastic! They were so friendly and made us fell like we were at home. Francesca at front office was very informative of the area and helped us plan many day trips with ease. The pool area was excellent and my children enjoyed many afternoons swimming. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again when we revisit Sorrento.

A newly decorated and practical hotel with satisfying amenities within its cost.Near Sorrento center and it takes about 5-10 mins walk only, no shuttle service is not a problem.Pool is excellent, I saw staff cleaning the pool every morning, sunbath area is broad and sufficient number of sunbath chair.Parking fee is surprisingly low and it costed only €4/day, all you need to do is inform front desk in advance. All in all, a reasonable hotel with reasonable price, you won’t expect more within this range👍👍

Hotel Florida in Sorrento is an excellent choice for a 3-star hotel. The rooms are simple but clean, the staff is friendly, and there is a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by greenery. The area is quiet yet convenient for reaching the city center. Good value for money. ⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️

Great hotel, travelled for family wedding with 2 daughters, had interconnecting room which was fantastic. Staff superb nothing is a bother (especially Peppe) pool and pool bar great no issues getting sunbed. Reception booked taxis when needed and came within 5 minutes, though taxis to square 20-25 euro which is quite expensive for a very short journey. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants great service, clean, lovely breakfasts and not feel you are being ripped off. Thank you for looking after our family!

Love, Love, Love the Florida. If you want to feel like part of the family, this was certainly the place to stay in Sorrento. Excellent location, kind staff and delicious food on the property. From the lovely authentic Italian coffee, (thank you Teng!) and breakfast to the Pizza night. The restaurant staff was also so helpful with pairing wine with dinners and talking with us about Sorrento and gave excellent suggestions about local places to see and shop (thank you Julio, Peppe, Sasi, and Matteo) We had one room overlooking the pool and the other the garden. Affordable and memorable.
