The room is exactly the same as in the pictures. The service was great! You could get your room cleaned daily. It even had sunlight blocking metal curtains outside so the room wouldnt light up when the sun came out! I did find the room to be a bit dusty, I would wake up and my nose would be blocked. Unfortunately our room faced the busy main street so there was car noise. Its a bit far from the main area of town, but definitely walkable! Its not as noisy but definitely car noise is audible.

After spending 10 nights at this property, I feel compelled to provide a detailed and candid review because our experience was quite different from what the overwhelmingly positive reviews led us to expect. First, prospective guests should understand that this property operates much more like an Airbnb or privately managed guesthouse than a traditional hotel. Had we fully understood that distinction beforehand, we likely would have made a different choice. Our stay began on an extremely disappointing note. After a long flight followed by a taxi ride to Sorrento, my wife and I arrived exhausted and expecting to check in. Instead, we were left waiting literally on the curb with our luggage for approximately 45 minutes, in nearly 30°C heat, before a property attendant finally arrived to give us access. After a long day of international travel, this was the last thing we expected and created a terrible first impression. Once inside, we discovered that we were provided with only ONE electronic access key. More importantly, that same key controls the electricity in the room. This creates an obvious inconvenience when two people are staying together. If one person wants to leave while the other remains in the room, the key arrangement becomes problematic. While I understand the desire to conserve electricity, the setup seemed designed primarily for the benefit of the property rather than the convenience of paying guests. Housekeeping was another disappointment, particularly during a 10-night stay. Basic room cleaning is provided only every other day, rather than daily, and even one of those scheduled cleaning days was skipped. We were simply notified the day before that cleaning would not take place. Even more frustrating, on another occasion we clearly displayed the “DO NOT DISTURB” sign on our door, yet the housekeeper proceeded to knock repeatedly, abruptly waking my wife. A Do Not Disturb sign should be respected—it exists for a reason. NOISE is another important factor that I believe prospective guests should know about. The property sits directly on a very busy main road, and traffic noise is clearly audible and continues late into the evening. If you are expecting the quiet, charming atmosphere that many people associate with a stay in Sorrento, the location may disappoint you. The location itself also deserves clarification. Piazza Tasso—the heart of Sorrento and where we spent much of our time—is approximately a 20-minute walk from the property. This is certainly walkable for many people, but after long days exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, the distance becomes more noticeable. Taxis were also difficult to arrange at times, so guests should not necessarily assume that a quick taxi will always solve the problem. The jacuzzi was another amenity we expected to enjoy. However, after seeing the extensive list of rules and restrictions associated with using it, we ultimately decided it simply wasn’t worth the trouble and never used it. To be fair, there ARE positives. The host is polite and courteous. There is an excellent pizza shop conveniently located on the ground floor of the building, which we enjoyed. There are also several decent restaurants nearby, although we personally found much better dining options closer to central Sorrento. The train and bus station is approximately a 15-minute walk away, which is useful for travelers planning day trips. We originally selected this property because it was cost-effective and appeared to offer a practical base for our 10-night visit. Unfortunately, after experiencing it for that length of time, WE REGRETTED OUR CHOICE. One reason I am writing such a detailed review is that I wish we had encountered this information when doing our own research. Many of the reviews are extremely positive, but a number appear to reflect relatively short stays. Someone staying for one or two nights may understandably view certain inconveniences differently. During a 10-night stay, however, issues such as limited housekeeping, having only one electricity/access key, road noise, distance from the center and the lack of traditional hotel services become considerably more noticeable. Sorrento itself was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring the area. Unfortunately, our accommodation was one aspect of the trip we would change. This property may suit travelers primarily looking for a more economical, Airbnb-style place to sleep and who do not mind the compromises described above. However, travelers expecting the service, convenience, housekeeping and accessibility of a traditional hotel should understand exactly what they are booking. We certainly wish we had known these details beforehand. On our next visit to Sorrento, we will choose different accommodations and would not stay here again.

(Translated by Google) Nice, clean room, new elevator. The plus is the Jacuzzi on the terrace. On the downside, for those like me who have walking difficulties, it's a bit too far out of the way. (Original) Camera bella e pulita, ascensore nuovo. Il plus la Jacuzzi sul terrazzo. Da contro, per chi, come me, cammina con difficoltà, un po' troppo decentrato

(Translated by Google) Everything was perfect until evening. This is where the struggle to fall asleep and rest begins. Which is impossible. The annoying music club directly below the rooms takes away all the pleasure of relaxation. Avoid this place. It's not worth it! Edit: Ants in the bathroom. They also crawl on the towels hanging on the wall. (Original) Wszystko idealnie do momentu wieczoru. Tu zaczyna się walka o zaśnięcie i wypoczęcie. Co nie jest możliwe. Uciążliwy klub muzyczny bezpośrednio pod pokojami odbiera całą przyjemność wypoczynku. Odpuścić sobie to miejsce. Niewarto! Edit: W łazience mrówki. Chodzą również po powieszonych ręcznikach na ścianie.
