The hotel's location is truly remarkable, offering convenient access to various attractions within walking distance. However, for the price point, we had anticipated a more favorable "interior view." Our "Collection room" unfortunately overlooked a wall and a rooftop, which deviated from our expectations based on the provided description. Furthermore, the level of comfort for a hotel of this caliber was not entirely satisfactory. While the beds were generously sized, they were exceptionally soft and entirely foam-based, lacking adequate support. We requested an alternative mattress, and the proposed solution involved placing a bare piece of wood on top of it. Regrettably, no linens were provided to cover it. We attempted to contact the lobby, but received no response, compelling us to reposition it beneath the mattress ourselves to avoid sleeping directly on the wooden surface. The dresser lights were intended to have a sensor, but it proved to be non-functional, resulting in a bright light illuminating the room throughout the night. The staff members were courteous in their attempts to address the issue (and consistently friendly), but ultimately stated that "that's how it is" and offered eye masks as a substitute for a genuine repair. Additionally, the bathroom amenities included large bottles of cleaning products rather than individual bottles of shampoo, gel, or conditioner. The shower also tends to flood during use, necessitating the creation of a towel dam to prevent the entire floor from becoming wet. To conclude, upon returning to our room on Sunday at 4 p.m. after a particularly long and tiring morning, we were surprised to find that the room had not yet been serviced. Nevertheless, after contacting the front desk, the room was promptly tidied, and the staff made arrangements to compensate for the inconvenience, which we greatly appreciated. The staff consistently demonstrated friendliness and a willingness to assist and resolve any issues.

We had a wonderful stay at Radisson Collection Strand Hotel Stockholm during our city trip. The location is perfect - right by the waterfront and within walking distance of many of Stockholm’s most beautiful sights. The hotel is elegant, comfortable and a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. A very special thank you goes to Quang Thien Tran, who provided outstanding service. He was incredibly kind, professional and genuinely cared about helping us. He understood our situation immediately and solved all of our room-related issues quickly and efficiently. His friendliness and dedication made a real difference to our stay. Thank you again for making our visit to Stockholm even more enjoyable. We would be happy to stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel. Great facilities and nice area. The food was very nice for breakfast. The location is good for easy access to attractions and boat harbour.|BUT the room we had was poor value for the money we paid. It had a bathroom the size of only two plane toilets. Ridiculous for the price of the room. You had to stand in the room to dry yourself. See photo

Mixed experience with some design flaws. Initially given a room that was already occupied, but staff quickly resolved the error. The suite had a great view. However, the furniture showed its age - the sofa and armchair had sunk so deep that getting up was difficult. The wardrobes were poorly designed with limited storage space. Breakfast was fairly standard hotel fare, nothing exceptional. The saving grace was the lovely staff. Good location but the suite needs furniture updates and better storage solutions.

After six nights at another hotel, I decided to spend a little more and move to the Radisson Collection Strand, expecting a more refined and luxurious stay in one of Stockholm’s best locations. Unfortunately, while the location was excellent and easily the strongest point of the hotel, the overall experience did not quite live up to expectations. We had two rooms, and both were quite small. The bathrooms also felt cramped, and the in-room amenities were rather limited for a hotel positioned at this level. We did not try the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. On the positive side, the receptionists I interacted with were very professional, helpful and courteous, and they definitely made a good impression. Overall, the stay was perfectly acceptable, but there was nothing particularly memorable, special or luxurious about it. Considering the price and the Radisson Collection positioning, I expected a noticeably higher level of comfort, attention to detail and overall experience. Would I return? Probably not. The location is excellent, but the hotel itself was ultimately a disappointment and did not deliver the upscale experience I was hoping for.

A Wonderful hotel in the heart of Stockholm. Beautiful views over the sea, perfect for discovering the old town and shopping and jumping onto the boats for a tour. The food by Strand downstairs the hotel is amazing - their cappuccino is wonderful - take it sitting by the street watching the sea and enjoy!

Well, where do I start!….lets start on my 70th birthday, we had arrived in Stockholm on the cruise ship Viking Jupiter after 2 weeks of cruising around Scandinavia. Having booked a sea view superior room (for 3 nights ) we were upgraded to a junior suite WOW room 601…see photos. What a fabulous surprise.|The hotel is very central and close to everything.|Reception staff pleasant and extremely helpful. ( see later)|Terrific rooftop bar overlooking the town…but be aware it’s very popular so arrive early should you wish to enjoy a few drinks.|The main restaurant called Strand is also good. We enjoyed a fairly typical buffet breakfast and had dinner there one night …can recommend.|Our suite was super spacious with everything you could want. We had two single beds placed nice and close to each other and very comfortable |Here’s where the wheels fell off!…not with the hotel but with us.|My wife became very sick and needed a doctor. The hotel put us on to one who arrived within the hour.|She deteriorated during the day and we needed help to get here to hospital.|The hotel arranged a taxi and the most suitable hospital |My wife was discharged later that night so back to the hotel as we were due to fly home back to Australia the next morning.|She deteriorated further and an emergency unfolded at 1.30 in the morning.|John the night manager was terrific in trying to get an ambulance however we decided on a taxi as quicker. It was a little complicated as we had to also check out because the hotel was full. Anyhow they made looking after our bags etc etc and made things as easy as possible |As it turns out my wife is ok and we came back to the hotel the following day to collect our bags. The reception staff helped me arrange accommodation at the other Radisson Blu waterfront for a few days where we are now.|Flights missed, travel insurance activated and life goes on…..it’s a bit of a story however the hotel was terrific in our time of need….that will always get 5 stars from me.
