The top floor bathhouse with panoramic view is definitely the most memorable part of my stay. You can see sunrises and sunsets while bathing. It was so magical to see how the colours and shadows changed as the sun sets. The onsen bathroom was very big and well equipped. Much better than the typical bathhouse in a typical midrange hotel. Buffet breakfast was awesome and above average for the price. Well worth the money. It features some local ingredients, tofu and vegetables. I definitely would want to go back.

Top experience, amazing convenience and affordable price. Few minutes walk to Takayama sta., free daily buffet in the morning as well as free open-air hot spring. You can't miss it if you are seeking for a accommodation in Takayama.

Rooms are clean, the (partially outdoor) onsen on the ninth floor is great. There was confusion about our booking however when we checked in. Receptionist supposed our travel agency had not paid for our breakfast. Whereas we had confirmation it had been paid. Receptionist was not really willing to contact our travel agency, so we had to do this ourselves. Not quite the service you'd expect.

20251225 - hotel built in 2008. Located just 5 min walk from takayama bus terminal and jr station. Offers very fast free wifi. There is coffee machine and tea that you can help yourself with at lobby. Check is fast and not so crowded. Room space is just sufficient and they provide pillow menu that you can help yourself with at reception. Warmer is strong during winter and shower water pressure is strong and hot. The free onsen on 9f is amazing during winter. Breakfast offers drinks, several cooked dishes, bakery and salads which are delicious. Highly recommended to stay here!

Hotel location is perfect. Easy check in and check out! You can ask anything you need for amenities! I regretted that I didn’t try their Onsen which is wasted coz they already charged you for Onsen as well. So, should try their Onsen. However, most of the hotel rooms in Japan are always very small except Kyoto as far as I know!

The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes walk from Takayama station. It's a pretty small town, so all the main tourist sites are well within comfortable walking distance. The unique selling point of this hotel is the sento on the top floor. Taking a hot bath outside in the cold was outstanding. I love sentos so I went here every night I stayed in the hotel. The room was immaculately clean. For some reason it had a weird echo, perhaps some decorations on the wall would solve that. Zero noise from the outside at night. The bed was too hard for my tastes, it was quite uncomfortable. I don't know how many times I have written this in reviews for hotels in mainly Asia, but I can't understand how people invest millions in opening a hotel but skimp on the beds. Too many times I have slept (or tried to sleep) in a continental bed that is missing the top mattress. As usual in Japan trying to communicate with hotel staff in English was surprisingly difficult. Luckily one woman working the front desk spoke Spanish, and I know Italian, so it was easier to communicate that way as the languages are similar.

Large spa hotel with great location between Takayama station and the old town area, less than 5 minutes walk to Takayama Jinya. We made full use of the onsen which was great, rooms are fairly standard for Japan and good shower pressure.

Was there for a short trip. Enjoyed the services there and the room although small is well equipped. Short change is probably the TV channels, but I guess most of the Hotels in Japan also has limited or 0 oversea channels. Had a relaxing and recharged time using the onzen, but do not expect good view outside.;p
