The room we stayed in was spacious but needed an update. The bathroom was a good size with a shower. We had a couple of issues with the room but Pablo sorted then straightaway which was good. The breakfast is fruit and eggs , not much choice but a decent breakfast.

A Tranquil Oasis: My Stay at La Ramona Charming Hotel If you are looking for the perfect blend of serenity and convenience in Tamarindo, look no further than La Ramona Charming Hotel. My recent stay there was nothing short of wonderful, offering a relaxing escape that still keeps you connected to everything the town has to offer. The Perfect Location The hotel is perfectly situated, it provides that blissful, quiet sanctuary you crave while being just far enough away from the downtown noise. Yet, despite the peaceful atmosphere, you are still close enough to walk to all the shops, beaches, and restaurants in town. It is the best of both worlds. The Vibe and Amenities The hotel design truly embraces the tropical setting, and my favorite feature was hands down the outdoor shower. There is something incredibly refreshing about showering in the open air, surrounded by the beautiful greenery of the property. The pool area is equally delightful. It is well-maintained, tranquil, and the perfect spot to lounge with a book or cool off after a sunny day of exploring. The property has a charm that feels both intimate and luxurious, making it very easy to settle in and just let the stress of travel melt away. Exceptional Service The staff at La Ramona deserves a special shout-out. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, warm, and incredibly friendly. They clearly go out of their way to ensure guests feel comfortable and well-cared for, which really elevates the entire experience from a simple hotel stay to a memorable vacation. Final Verdict La Ramona Charming Hotel is a true gem in Tamarindo. It is ideal for anyone seeking a sophisticated, peaceful retreat without sacrificing accessibility. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We just spent 11 amazing days at the La Ramona. We enjoyed a room steps away from the pool with a lovely terrace (complete with swinging chair) and an lovely outdoor shower. We spent many hours enjoying the small plunge pool, most of the time we were the only ones there. We enjoyed our made to order breakfast each morning before heading out each day. The location was only a block off on of the main streets and was easily accessible to many amazing restaurants. If you like a boutique environment away from the hustle and bustle, this is a great place for you.

We stayed here two nights and highly recommend it. The service and staff were fantastic and were very helpful accommodating our two-night stay under separate reservations. The hotel is a nice walking distance to the main street of Tamarindo. Rooms aren’t quite up to modern standards for outlets and amenities, but otherwise are great. WiFi worked great as well.
