We received a very warm welcome. A big thank you, as we arrived at around 10:00 a.m. and our room was already available. The room was well appointed. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this establishment.

The only issue I had was the heat. Even when the heater was turned off my room was way too hot. Apart from that, the service was good. The hotel was quiet though. I hope they get more tourist there.

With a polar expedition operated by Quark Expeditions departing from Ushuaia, I booked a room at Fueguino Hotel in advance of embarkation. The hotel was easy to locate - I was on foot and was traveling light, so the hills leading up to the hotel were not an issue. Our expedition was departing from Hotel Albatros – an easy, 10-minute downhill walk from Fueguino Hotel. Although check-in time was enforced, I was able to drop my bags off and explore before checking in. There's a very convenient grocery and liquor store - La Proveeduria - across the street from the hotel. Hotel staff were present throughout the day, and I found them to be helpful and friendly. I found the hotel reasonably priced, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was firm and comfortable; and there was a window opening into the street. There were no single-use plastics, the bathroom was very clean and well-configured, and the room temperature was comfortable throughout my stay. There were a spacious dining area and a small but well-stocked bar, with drink prices typical for Ushuaia hotel bars. Breakfast (included in the room price) was ample, with hot and cold buffet offerings.

Pleasant hotel in a good location. Rooms are spacious but may not have much of a view. The beds are comfortable with too much bedding! The radiators in the room are adjustable and the windows open. The breakfast is ok but the restaurant has a limited menu.

I stayed here for the second year running and again got the same huge room with two tubs. I like this hotel as the location is fantastic, breakfast is good and it has bathtubs. Its a great place to unwind after long flights. The only small negative is the keycard kept stopping working and had to got to reception to make it work or get the stewardess to open the door. Otherwise another good stay

I recommend this hotel due to its very friendly staff and great location. If you have a room on the side of the bay, the view is excellent and unobstructed. The only reasons why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the breakfast (not great, although the pastry is excellent) and because of the thin walls. At night, you can hear people pass your room and you'll hear any other sound in the hallway too. Nevertheless, the people here are so friendly it doesn't matter too much. Still recommended!

the rooms are small, in need of renovation, the hotel management is so-so. an employee came into our room twice without knocking or warning. there were many mistakes. Truth have made a compliment coffee with cakes. Reception staff is accommodating. good massage therapist. one day missed cleaning. good location.

Response from the property

(Translated by Google) Hello Olesia, I'm sorry that the extra attention we gave you to make you feel comfortable wasn't enough to compensate. On your arrival, December 22nd, without a prior reservation, you were assigned a room with a canal view that was clean and set up as a twin room. Later, we made up a double room at your request. On the 23rd, room service was provided and is recorded in our system by Silvana, a member of our staff. You checked out on the 24th, so no cleaning day was missed. As the manager, I was aware of all your needs from the moment you arrived. We extended the hours of the gym and spa so you could enjoy the massages. Food and beverage service is at an additional cost, and when you declined, I authorized the waitress to take it to you free of charge. Our rooms are 25 square meters, as stated in all our communications. And we're constantly updating; this year we changed the curtains, mattresses, and sheets, and the towels are replaced every year. The rooms are built with special materials to keep out outside noise. The person who delivered the tray of sweets had to knock several times because you weren't answering. We apologize if anything made you uncomfortable, and we'll work to improve the areas you suggested.

Stayed here for two nights, our room was spacious and clean, the wifi was very good. The guy on reception was very friendly and welcoming to us when we arrived and check in was efficient. The breakfast was a buffet and there was a good choice, the staff were helpful and the service was very good. The hotel is in a good location, one street up from the main street and two from the port. We used the laundry service and it was very reasonable

The hotel's own Restaurante Komenk serves regional dishes, including king crab and grilled lamb, plus pizza, pasta, and coffee. For more options, the downtown area is a short walk, with most restaurants along San Martín and Maipú streets. You can reach places like Volver, Tía Elvira, and Parrilla Casimiro Biguá on foot. The waterfront avenue Maipú is just a block away, making it easy to explore. For a different experience, Puerto Almanza, about 75 km away, offers fresh king crab from fishing families, though it requires a trip out of town.

The End of the World Sign is an 11-minute walk, and the Museo del Fin del Mundo is 13 minutes away. The area is compact and walkable, with the waterfront and downtown streets close by. For farther sights like Martial Glacier or the national park, you would need a taxi or a tour, but the immediate surroundings are ideal for a stroll.
