Spent a night at this hotel in beautiful Vancouver at the waterfront. We were late arriving and used the valet service. Check-in was seamless and our room was comfortable and well-appointed. Nice toiletries, bathrobes etc. We stayed in the signature harbour and Stanley Park view room, which afforded us an excellent view of Vancouver at night and also the next day. We attended the restaurant for appies and wine, and went there the next day for our breakfast. The buffet was excellent, catering to all manner of dietary needs. Fresh fruit, beautiful salmon, cereals, toast and loads of other options to keep you full for a day of sight seeing. The staff in the hotel were courteous and friendly. We had a quick walk around the pool area and gym. I would definitely take advantage of the amenities if staying again. Having experienced a few Fairmonts at home and abroad, this stay did not disappoint…definitely worth it!

Overlooking Vancouver’s harbour and cruise terminal, the Fairmont Waterfront is an attractive and conveniently located hotel, ideal for travellers who want to enjoy views of the waterfront and the harbour while remaining just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. Its location makes it particularly practical, offering easy access to the main attractions, shopping areas and restaurants. The hotel’s rooms are spacious and comfortable, with excellent beds and pillows that contribute to a restful stay. The overall layout and accessibility of the property make it a convenient choice for both leisure and business travellers. The service is good, as one would expect from a Fairmont property, with friendly, helpful staff who make a genuine effort to ensure guests feel comfortable and well looked after. Particular mention must be made of the concierge service, which provided some excellent restaurant recommendations that greatly enhanced our stay. Overall, the Fairmont Waterfront combines a prime waterfront location, comfortable accommodation and attentive service, making it an excellent base from which to discover Vancouver.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Waterfront while visiting from Nova Scotia to celebrate our engagement! A special thank you to the incredible Fairmont Gold team, particularly Amandeep and Zoey, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were so welcoming, attentive, and helpful every step of the way! We experienced a couple of issues during our stay, but the way the team handled them was exceptional. Kristy from housekeeping personally called to apologize for an issue on our first night and thoughtfully sent desserts to our room. Later, when we had an issue with our shower, Zoey generously arranged a complimentary upgrade to the beautiful Sea to Sky Suite! What stood out most was how genuinely the team cared about our experience. They turned minor inconveniences into an unforgettable stay and made our engagement celebration feel even more special. Thank you again to Amandeep, Zoey, Kristy, and the entire team for your incredible hospitality. We can’t wait to return! ❤️

Room was really nice, clean and the facilities were in good condition. Staff were lovely, housekeeping did a great job, left extra towels and robes by request which was lovely. The breakfast in the restaurant was quite expensive for the serving size and food ordered. But overall it was a great stay and would recommend.

I've stayed at Fairmont Waterfront for 5 nights. It's near the port and convention center. The room is comfort and clean. Anyway, next time I go to Vancouver, I still choose this place.

Our recent stay at the Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver was truly exceptional, and the Fairmont Gold experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, the service was outstanding. The staff’s attention to detail and genuine care made us feel truly welcomed and valued as guests. One of the most memorable touches occurred when I casually mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday. We didn’t think anything more of it, but later that day, a delicious, decadent slice of chocolate cake was delivered to our room along with a lovely handwritten happy birthday note. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture that made her birthday feel even more special. We were also staying at the hotel before our cruise, and the convenience of having our luggage collected directly from our room and delivered to the cruise ship was fantastic. It made the transition from the hotel to the ship completely seamless and stress free. The Fairmont Gold experience itself was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the Gold Lounge, particularly the quality of the food and beverages, the comfortable atmosphere, and the attentive service. It was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the amazing view during our stay. We have stayed at many wonderful hotels, but the combination of exceptional service, thoughtful touches, and the overall Fairmont Gold experience truly impressed us. We left feeling genuinely appreciated as guests and would absolutely look forward to staying here again. Thank you to the entire Fairmont Gold Waterfront team for making our stay so memorable!

We prepaid a city view king at $574 USD per night (after all the numerous taxes and fees that get added). We arrived in town on Amtrak and easily caught a Lyft for $8.00CAD (plus tip) for the 2 mile ride. We were here for a cruise and the location is spectacular, literally across the street from the cruise terminal - we could see our ship docked from our room window. Due to our credit card, we were upgraded to a gorgeous, huge partial harbor view corner room. Plenty of elevators and never a long wait. Our room was spectacular with amazing views from every room, in particular the large wrap-around windows in the bedroom. The bathroom was large and had a perfect large shower with great water-pressure, constant hot water, and a rain head. The room had a Keurig coffee machine with plentiful FREE pods and amenities to make your morning coffees. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is really a mini-resort, as they offer their own included attractions - we took a very great FREE tour of their rooftop bee hives and FREE tasting of the resulting honeycomb and honey gelato. They offer FREE 2-hour bicycle rentals indicated as first come with no reservation.....but when we stopped by at 9AM, they told us they had already been fully reserved until 3PM (????)....and honestly, 2 hours is a little tight for enjoying a leisurely ride. The staff were uniformly excellent and friendly. The lobby restaurant/ breakfast is very nice (but do be aware of the taxes/ fees that are NOT listed in the menu prices and are added to the bill separately). Our breakfast was in our package and was a very nice buffet with made-to-order options. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be trying more Fairmont properties in the future.

Room are nice and clean. Food selection for free breakfast was limited. Much smaller compared to similar 4 star hotels. Long wait time to get seated. Faster seating if you choose to sit at the bar. Happy hour oysters is very good. Hotel is close to Denman street with many good restaurants and shops. Many bicycle rentals too.
