Peak Sport Chalet

The studio at Peak Sport Chalet was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was well maintained, very clean and overall pleasant to stay in. We had limited contact with the host, only briefly for the key handover. We arrived a bit earlier than planned, which may explain why the interaction felt a little rushed. The location is slightly outside the town centre, so it’s quieter but less convenient if you want to be right in the middle of everything. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially thanks to the spacious and clean studio.

We spent almost 2 weeks at the Chalet. It was only a couple of blocks away from our son and his family. Alex and Christine were very welcoming including allowing us to have our grandkids stay over a few nights. The chalet was very clean and comfortable, the wood stove was great. There is a private back yard and laundry facilities. The location is walking distance to downtown. We hope to stay again on our next family visit.

Absolutely excellent! We are a family of 4 and greatly enjoyed our stay. Alex and Christine were so accommodating and took extra special care of us. Christine even baked us a delicious cake on arrival! The chalet is lovely and cosy with everything you need. Wood burner was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so attentive to our needs. Quiet and private. We will definitely be coming back! I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I would highly recommend staying at Peak - SportChalet. Me and my wife were delighted that they had a dry room so our gear was always nice and dry the next morning after hitting the slopes. The place is conveniently located 40 minutes from both Cardrona and Treble Cone. We stayed at the studio and we really enjoyed the warm floor in the bathroom. Alex and Christine were super hosts and I would definitely stay again if I'm ever to drop by Queenstown and Wanaka region.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Perfect for our family of 4. The hosts are very friendly and attentive - our bins were emptied, towels refreshed, fire place and wood replenished all the time. We feel they went above and beyond what we expected. It was also very very clean and tidy. Kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were nice and comfortable. We were warm and toasty too. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much. Kasha, Jakub, Rafi and Matilda.

We just came back from a magnificent stay with Alex and Christine who are excellent hosts. We were always welcomed with a roaring fire and the first day with a cake. The Chalet was always clean and warm and close enough to Wanaka town. on a day off skiing we treated ourselves to a massage that Alex does in his studio on site. These were some of the best massages we have ever had and he even did our kids for us. Overall we had a great week and the Chalet is a great space to stay. Nikki,Dave,Josh,Sam and Sienna Gates

Thank you Alex and Christine for a warm welcome and a lovely stay in your Studio Unit for 3 nights. Studio Unit was very clean and kitchenette so handy with all essentials you need kindly supplied by Alex and Christine. Such a great unit to come home to after a long day sight seeing Wanaka. Would highly recommend Peak Sport Chalet if you're looking for a modern, clean and comfortable accommodation in Wanaka.
