I’m pleased to say that everything was good and met expectations.Very well located. The friendly and accommodating staff were very helpful and genuinely dedicated. Well equipped fitness. Pricey breakfast and not too big, but certainly tasty. The room was clean, modern and elegantly decorated. There is a smart TV. Multiple charging outlets were available. There was a mini fridge and amenities were available upon request. Very handy information sheet provided upon check-in. I was able to store my luggage for some time before my departure.I was charged incorrectly, but this was promptly corrected. This is hotel is one of the few that can truly serve as an example to others.

Frank was truly exceptional and deserves the highest praise! From the moment my boyfriend and I arrived, he went above and beyond to make our check-in experience smooth, welcoming, and stress-free. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care immediately stood out. What impressed us most was that Frank didn’t simply assist us during check-in and move on, he took the time to personally check back in with us afterward to make sure we were doing well, comfortable, and had everything we needed. That level of attentiveness and thoughtfulness is rare and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Frank provided the kind of outstanding customer service that leaves a lasting impression. He was incredibly personable, attentive, and accommodating, and it was clear that he takes great pride in making sure guests have a wonderful experience. His hospitality truly exceeded our expectations, and he made our arrival feel special. Frank is an absolute asset to your team, and I hope his exceptional service is recognized. Employees like him are the reason guests remember a stay for all the right reasons. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did and would gladly return knowing we would receive the same level of care and hospitality. Frank was simply amazing!

Update on July 6th: I opened a claim with Hilton Corporate regarding the situation and this place denied any compensation (or to make things right) and even closed the case. People, be very careful and do your research prior to booking. I tried calling this hotel today, nearly 3 weeks after the housekeeper tried stealing my rings, and got no answer. Previous review: I seriously wanted to love this hotel. I love the location, the downstairs area, cafe, all great. Let’s get to the room: once you walk in, you instantly feel welcomed. However, when you make it to the bathroom, the floors were not mopped (there was LOTS of hair on the floor). I called down to the front desk to have someone come back to clean the bathroom again. The bathroom still didn’t receive a thorough mopping. The “best” part came when I accidentally left my two gold rings on the bathroom sink this morning. I called the hotel immediately when I noticed and was told NO ONE saw them. I returned later that day to retrieve my bags only to find out that my rings SOMEHOW skipped from the bathroom counter to the vacuum cleaner bag😡 Seriously, the cleaning person tried STEALING my rings. The Lost And Found Manager, Jean, and Frank were super helpful in allowing me to go back and check the room myself. It honestly wasn’t until I wanted to get the police involved that they allowed me to go back to my room. PEOPLE— TRUST YOUR GOD-GIVEN INSTINCTS AND USE YOUR SAFE!!!!!!!! I almost left DC without my late grandmother’s wedding band and my USMA class ring!💍 The latter I could replace, the former I could not! 🙏🏾 Thank You Jesus!

Frank checked us out today, Oct 12, and helped us split the bill between two credit cards to maximize the cards' benefits. Excellent and quick customer service! Room was comfortable, no real issues with its layout or amenities. Service from all other staff was quite nice as well. Bellman, Bellhop, Front Desk staff, Bartender and Servers were all friendly beyond just "being courteous". Overall assessment - 5 stars

I took my brother here for his Fourth of July birthday trip and we absolutely loved it! The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is great, and the housekeeping is awesome. Within steps from the White House, too! We agree, it’s our new home away from home. Don’t forget to look up the history of the hotel if you’re nerds like us! We will see you again soon, Hilton! Frank was truly incredible. Every time I stay here, he makes the check-in process extremely easy and fast. He is pleasant, professional, and consistently goes above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the whole experience was smooth and welcoming, and Frank's service is always outstanding. You can tell he genuinely values the guest experience and takes real pride in his work. His warm attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to help made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another reservation. He anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, answered every question with patience and a smile, and made sure everything was in order before I headed to my room. Customer service like this is rare, and it is a big part of why I keep coming back. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone, and Frank is a wonderful asset to the team.

The hotel was clean and the service very approachable and friendly. I want to especially note how helpful was the bell captain, Yifred Folie. We left our luggage with him for the duration of the day, after checking out, while we toured the city. We had a plug-in cooler with us, which we also left in his care. Yifred not only secured our suitcases but made sure to keep the cooler plugged in through the entirety of the day and saved all our perishable food. And he did it with a smile and eagerness to make sure we had a successful and stress-free visit. The hotel and Yifred get five stars from me!

For a meal without leaving the hotel, the on-site restaurant and both bars serve all-American fare and drinks. Just outside, you'll find The Cheesecake Factory at 15th and H Streets, The Park at 14th at 14th and K Streets, Georgia Brown's near 15th and I Streets, and Bobby Van's Steakhouse on 15th Street. Del Frisco's Steakhouse is a short walk away on I Street between 9th and 10th. These local spots offer a range of casual to upscale dining, all within easy walking distance of the hotel.
