Great hotel with friendly staff. Rooms great, clean. Breakfast not the best for 22 CHF and no fresh omlets, bacon etc. But their offer is transparent, so you can check the breakfast buffet and than decide to take it or not. The breakfast area/room a bit funky. It seems that this was/is some kind of theatre. Interesting. Location is super convenient, 2-3 minutes from Zurich HBF, or central train station.

This hotel was great for a one night stay in Zurich on a two week trip to Europe. Flying into a foreign country is stressful, but the convenient location near Zurich HB is ever so convenient. We could easily walk from the station to the hotel with made coming and going nice and easy. In the lobby they have chocolate for free and for sale as well as friendly receptionists. The elevator is cramped which isn’t the best for a family with suitcases but we made it work. The rooms are small but for European standards pretty big. The rooms have chocolate theming which is fun and comes equipped with coffee makers and a tv. The stairs aren’t very steep with makes going up and down nice. You won’t get much of a view here unfortunately, but outside there is the beautiful river and Swiss buildings. If I return to Zurich this would be a place I would stay again.

I have been here a few times. I like this hotel. Staff is always friendly. Breakfast is good. Rooms are smallish, but fine for the price. Quirky pæace whefe many things just look like chocolate bars. Location os unbeatable!

I had a very pleasant stay at Swiss Chocolate by Fassbind in Zurich. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but it was very clean and there were plenty of towels available. The hotel is located on a busy street, so there can be some street noise. However, this is simply part of being in such a central location and not something the hotel can control. The location is excellent — very close to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Guests who plan to stay longer may want to keep in mind that there is no wardrobe in the room, so storage space is somewhat limited. A lovely extra touch was the chocolate fountain with cookies in the lobby, which guests can enjoy during the day. It fits perfectly with the chocolate theme of the hotel. Overall, a very pleasant stay with wonderful staff.

Great location - we were able to walk from the train station and the Central Tram stop was just steps away. The complementary chocolates in the lobby were a nice touch.

I was only here for one day. In that limited time, I had a wonderful experience with this hotel and would absolutely recommend it to everyone. 10/10 highly recommend. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and treated like we were family. The room is small and cozy. Neat little tidbit... There is a faint smell of chocolate throughout the hotel. Absolutely loved it and would 100% go back.

Great location very close to the main station and a number of tram stops. Room size is fine for just one night and they are nicely decorated. As has been mentioned in other reviews, Aircon does not appear to work and the room was warm even in February. Opened they window, but it can get very loud in the morning.

This place has rooms that shouldn’t even be called rooms or be legal to occupy. Slanted roof line, literally a room in a dormer. Check what you are getting before paying this way over priced cost for a garbage room! Not recommended even with its great location!
