Ricardo and his team ensure that your stay in Coimbra is excellent, and our apartment rental was exactly as promised - amazing location, clean, fantastic layout, and somehow also included parking, which was a huge help because our family drove to Coimbra. We're eager to go back and stay again.

We stayed two nights in apartment 2.2 - one bedroom with a small office room which has a desk and single bed. Location was great, being right off the main pedestrian strip in the old town area, so very atmospheric and convenient for restaurants. Check-in is at Hotel Oslo, about 4min walk away so you will have to walk with your luggage for a few minutes, including up some stairs. The apartment building also does not have a lift, so you will need to be able to carry your luggage up stairs within the building. I don't think you would be able to call an Uber or taxi to the street in front of the building as it is very narrow so bear this in mind. Some other minor points I noticed about the apartment which you may find helpful:- It directly faces another building on a narrow street, so the apartment doesn't really get natural sunlight- There is a washer but no dryer - it took a whole day for our clothes to dry and the rack sat in the living room- The apartment fittings are starting to feel a bit worn down

Great place nice rooms great location. Avoid if you have large heavy suitcases. You'll need to climb a flight of stairs 3 stories high to get to the apartment building. Thereafter, you'll need to climb up stairs to the rooms. No elevator.

Overall, my stay at Entre Ruas Apartments was enjoyable. Unfortunately, the apartment didn't meet my expectations as far as cleanliness is concerned. There was some mould in the shower and there was dust as well as some stuff left by previous guests underneath the bed. Nevertheless, I must admit that the location of the apartment was absolutely fantastic

The location was exceptional, right in the middle of old Coimbra. The apartment was spacious and clean with a full kitchen and washing machine. The apartment came with off site (but close) parking with was a major factor in our booking. The old disappointment was the ‘balcony, which was really only a smokers area at the back of the apartment. I would stay there again.

This property is in an excellent location. The apartment fully met our needs. We were in Coimbra during some heavy rain so it was nice to have more than a bedroom. We were able to do some laundry as there is a washing machine. We recommend the property.

Lovely apartments in the historic center of Coimbra. We took the same apartment twice. It is very roomy, has two TVs and a desk. One bathroom with shower. There is a rooftop garden as well. Note: There is quite a lot of stairs to climb to get to the apartments.

The check in is at Hotel Oslo. We were then left to find our own way to the apartment. We were directed up two steep set of stairs which if you are a bit weedy like me were impossible with a big suitcase. We got to the apartment (1.1) and the code wouldn't work so we had to go back to the hotel to find someone to sort it. The code repeatedly failed to work during our stay. There were only net curtains on the windows. The sofa is under the TV so the only place to watch TV is on the bed. The kitchen was well equipped but dark. The only outside space looked like a smoker's retreat - space for one chair and high walls all around you. Convenient location off the high street.
