Rooms are bright and clean. Very spacious bathroom with toiletries and big towels. |15 mins walk to train station and city centre. |The lady at reception was brilliant - we arrived late on the first night so she sent us a code so we could get in and also gave us information about where to rent a car etc.

I recently stayed with my family at Apartaments Els Químics and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, responsive, and professional, making check-in smooth and ensuring all our needs were met throughout our stay. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained, with clean and comfortable accommodations that made us feel right at home. I also felt safe and secure at all times—the building is well-managed, and the security measures gave my family and me peace of mind during our stay. Location is convenient, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Apartaments Els Químics to families looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and worry-free stay. The apartments are very clean and well-maintained, with an excellent location near the bus station and just a 20-minute walk from the old town. The bike garage is secure and fully equipped for cyclists, and the laundry area is well-stocked with plenty of washing machines and dryers. The reception staff are friendly and always ready to help.

Living here has been awesome! The vibe is super active and convenient — everything’s right here: parking, a bike storage room, and a laundry area. We had a wonderful two months at Els Apartments Quimics, filled with personal touches. We travel a good deal in Europe, Asia, And America and this was an idyllic stay, one of our best experiences in terms of attention to detail and hospitality. From the first day to the last day, Monse and Michele let us feel as if we were at home with friends. They made our stay special. Berta, Tainara, and Oscar were also always very welcoming and accommodating. The apartment itself was lovely, cleaned and aired weekly and with all we needed. The laundry room was extremely handy, the building was quiet, and the neighborhood had all our immediate needs – cafés, supermarkets, swimming pool, yoga, library, copy center. Downtown and the market were a pleasant walk. We very much enjoyed our time in Girona and would be delighted to stay again in Els Quimics, it is now one of our favorite places to stay.

Went back to Gerona after 4 years and chose to stay at Apartments Els Quimics again due to their cleanliness and services. After 4 years, the apartment still looks the same, nothing broken, dirty or bad. They upgraded the apartment with a dishwasher, which was a very pleasant surprise. There's a garage where you can park your car for a small fee. They have a laundry room with washing machines, dryers and an iron. The room is cleaned after a week, you'll get a new set of fresh clean towels, bed sheets and a kit to do your dishes. You can borrow 2 types of coffee machines at the reception. The air-conditioning works perfectly. The lady at the reception was kind and helpful when we asked her for her help. Our car window had a small crack due to a stone on the highway and we wanted to make an appointment at Carglass but they didn't speak English and our Spanish isn't good enough to have these kinds of conversations 😉. She spoke in Catalan with Carglass, explained what we needed and booked us an appointment on the same day! We got our full deposit back. The only thing I can think of that would make our stay even more enjoyable is a sturdier mattress, hence 4 stars instead of 5.
