It's an old hotel in need of a touch up. Service is good but not warm. Receptionists were professional, but the older gentleman working behind the bar was not friendly. There's a small gym which is nice. There's also sauna but you need to reserve in advance. The hotel is a little bit far from the city centre.

Room - spacious, with lots of amenities for your every day. There's a small fridge but full of drinks which are 2-3x of the prices in the supermarkets. The beds themselves were comfortable for our 2 nights stay. NO SOUND ISOLATION WHATSOEVER! Breakfast - lots of options to choose from but no fresh salads, only boiled or fried ones. Location of the hotel is a bit away from the city center but the distance is walkable. Now the worst part of our vacation - on the 2nd morning we couldn't sleep well. There was some kind of children camp so from 6AM we heard kids running around, talking out loud or doing all other stuff that didn't helped to have rest at all. We called the reception to inform about that - no actions taken. As we arrived to the breakfast area - the same children were just screaming everywhere and the staff of the hotel didn't care at all. That's just disrespectful to any hotel guests. It's not the hotel to have a peaceful rest at but worth considering taking the price & amenities in consideration.

This is THE BEST Best Western Hotel I have ever stayed at. I would rate it fully on par with a Hilton or Marriott hotel. Almost everything about it was super. Huge, confortable bed. Fantastic bathtub with excellent shower. Lots of drawer & shelf space and space for hanging clothes - so rare in hotels these days. The curtains overlapped so the room could be truly dark at night -- too often hotel curtains do not fully keep out the light. Breakfasts were outstanding with excellent smoked salmon, fried eggs, delicious apple cake, and much more. The service and staff were always outstanding. I was not thrilled when I heard my hosts had booked me at a Best Western but I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.| The only problem at the hotel was the computerized electrical heating and cooling system. For example, one day I attended a lunch for roughly 15 on the 1st floor; we could not regulate the temperature in the room and it was too cold so we requested that the air conditioning be turned down. Perhaps no one on staff knew how to operate the system, but they said the only options were (a) on as it was or (b) off. So we opted for off, but by mid-lunch it was much too warm. It was also extremely difficult to regulate the temperature in my hotel room; the system seemed to pay my settings no mind.

Very happy with our choice to stay here. Generous sized rooms, very good facilities & a great breakfast. Good location close to nice bars. At check-in the receptionist noticed it was my birthday the following day & presented a voucher for a free drink in the bar. What a lovely gesture.

We stayed here for our stay in Girona. The room was nice and spacious and the price very good. The rooms are very clean which is the most important aspect for us . However the location was a bit too far from the city center. Most attractions and restaurants are in the north while this hotel was in the south. Overall I would come again

16 minute walk from the station, fairly straightforward. Breakfast is good, dinner ok. 25-30 minutes from the old town where the food options are much better.

The hotel itself is nice, clean and comfortable.|The staff are rude and miserable. I asked for a pina colada on night one on the bar, to be told no, I don’t have time and need to eat, you can have beer, wine or soft drinks.|We tried again on night 2, after waiting over 10mins to be acknowledged and served, even though the bar was empty, again a cocktail was a NO. Breakfast was very poor on all 4 days. You could only get scrambled eggs, hot dog sausage, mixed veg, or beans on hot buffet, and if you asked the lady behind the counter for an omelette, she would huff and puff, make it and slap it on your plate, and you could only have plain omelette.|There were cereals, toast, pastries and fruit available.|Everything was disorganised, tables nit laid ready, not enough cups or cutlery, and staff just ignored you, no nice greetings or anything, it made you feel quite intimidated and an inconvenience. There were no staff we came across who were friendly or willing to give you the service you would expect for 4 star hotel. Very disappointing.

The hotel's nice and cozy, not fancy at all. But it's a 14-minute drive to the cathedral and it's in an outer area without all the old town's fuss.
