Very nice location 10 mins walk from station for lots of food n restaurants.Nice, welcoming n perfect english speaking staff surely adding points to the hotel Plus this price range with free Onsen bath facility is amazingly surprising.Gonna be back n staying in this hotel too next time

The hotel looks okay from the outside, but the inside definitely needs updating. Our room was on the 6th floor and the corridor carpet tiles were coming up and needed replacing. The room itself was okay and clean, though the bath needed recaulking. The aircon was very noisy and the way the room was set up, it was blowing directly onto the bed nearest it. No mention was made of a shuttle the hotel has from the station, so we lugged our suitcases about 1/4 mile to the hotel. We took the shuttle back to the station :) Hotel staff were courteous and the breakfast choice was very good. I booked this hotel through Expedia and paid ~$100, which wasn’t worth the money. One really shouldn’t pay more than $60 a night for this hotel. Gave this a three rating, but more realistically it’s 2.5

The location is south of the station, and don’t let the hotel name deceive you as the castle is north of the station. The baths are really good, there are multiple pools, steam and sauna. The rooms are not so soundproof, I could hear more noise from other guests than the average hotel. The mattress was not particularly comfy, I could feel the springs.

The hotel is quite far from the Himeji Station, but you can use the free shuttle bus. I was surprised that the hallway smelled like cigarettes. I have to wait quite long for elevator.

It is a little far from the station, a 10-minute walk. It is not located in the city center but is surrounded by office buildings, so it is quiet at night. There is a convenience store nearby. The room is a little old but well maintained. There is a large public bath, but it can’t be used if you arrive late at night. I used it in the morning. There were multiple large bathtubs and it was comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and both Western and Japanese food is available. You can also enjoy local dishes of Hyogo Prefecture, such as Himeji oden (Fishcake and vegetable stew) or Akashi yaki (Softly baked egg ball contains a piece of octopus in it). The “almond toast” (toast with sweet almond paste) was quite delicious.

The large onsen is quite upscale, offering a variety of baths, as well as a sauna and steam room. The front desk staff speaks English fluently. However, the room cleaning was not thorough—I found a disposable slipper from the previous guest under the bed.

About 10 minutes walk to the station,we didnt know that the hotel provide shuttle bus from the station, but only in the afternoon. There's a hot spa in the hotel, my friend enjoyed it very much.
